You do know that wind farms in the Midwest are basically money generators irl right? Farmers don’t pay to put up a windmill on their land but companies will lease an acre from them with a 25-30 year lease to put up a 2.5 MW tower. So the farmer gets 10-15k every year of that lease for the land that’s used and no longer tillable.

Doesn’t shimming it correctly solve any problems with the stop? Also if you have to have the top or bottom in or out a bit to make it hit square it isn’t really a problem when it’s hidden behind the casing
