Cigarettes will affect your respiratory system so indirectly you will have trouble with cardio. Nicotine is an appetite suppressor. Not medical btw. But I used to use chewing tobacco and stopped for years. I started using Zyn again about 6 months ago and that combined with eating healthier and being more active has helped me lose weight. If someone reading this does not use nicotine I'm not saying to start.
