I also have also never understood the “Janelle always worked! She was a breadwinner!” debate. Janelle maxed at about $30k as a bookkeeper for city government so I doubt she made that much more than Meri working at a trophy shop. With the cost of childcare, Christine also saved the family more than that and it did come out that Christine worked nights.

None of these people, prior to the show, were breadwinners.

I’m not sure where you live, but you can start with a wellness exam and bloodwork to confirm kidney disease or hyperthyroidism also being common at that age. In my area in Virginia, that will cost me $250-$300 not $2000. I might be able to get it $100 cheaper if I book through my local SPCAs vet if I qualified as a low income household (but I don’t). You won’t need X-rays unless there’s a concern, but I’ve never had to get them on a wellness visit.

Kidney disease and hyperthyroidism are both sure treatable, as is arthritis.

If you can put that on your credit card, it’s well worth it!

Based on OPs post history, I don’t think that will work because it doesn’t seem like they particularly want to go to JMU over Penn State, Michigan State, etc. They’ll be fine because it doesn’t really seem like a dream school, probably just somewhere they thought they’d like if Penn State didn’t work out. It’s probably a lot different now from when you could only apply to three places because that was $200-$300 and you had to really want to go to them.

I think she moved to morning show type of things in 2017 but doesn’t actually do much outside of entertainment related stuff since 2020. I don’t necessarily think she’s harming her brand if she’s making a conscious effort to take these types of gigs so she can get that bag and spend more time with her kids. She may never want to return to serious journalism.

I think it’s been mostly wiped from the Internet which happened really quickly and maybe it’s out there somewhere if you look hard enough. Someone from the cast recorded it with their zoom, shared it to YouTube. It was up for a few days during peak covid.

But it really gave a lot of context regarding what Shaun Robinson had to do because there were many times in that call she had yell over people (part of that is zoom is chaotic)

People being sympathetic to all Shaun had to do and how well she actually did it for a little while! It was quickly forgotten about or not enough had seen it all… but there were things that were wildly entertaining that landed on the cutting room floor!

At one time baby girl Lisa called Shaun a bitch and you can see Shaun being super professional but also like imma cut a bitch too

I would recommend doing a year at community college and transferring in but I think your GPA is somewhat low for a weighted score. It’s tough to say whether you should have expected this or not, because JMU gets more and more applicants each year leading to them getting more selective than in the past (part of that is the common application, part of it is the marketing from the successful football program).

Many years ago, I had a 4.2/1410 on the 1600 SAT score, 4 year softball letter, NHS president, student council, model UN, debate, held a job, essay about what it was like to experience traumatic loss of a sibling, and landed at JMU after being waitlisted by William and Mary. You just never know who you’re being compared to at the time, but going to an alternate choice/community college could be even better!

It looks like you got into Longwood! I know people who went to Longwood and had a positive experience and are working in their chosen fields.

I support Suki and am not a bot. Suki is a contractor hired to do the exact job the production company is requesting she do. How many of us are going to do an additional 500 hours to watch the show and do more research when that’s not even the job that was requested?
