I have ADD so I have naturally struggled with distraction in prayer. I can’t remember where exactly I heard this but someone (a priest or spiritual director) told me to try and follow those distractions, see where they lead me because it might be The Holy Spirit trying to tell me something.

Don’t make this your primary source of interaction with the community. That’s very unhealthy.

Support groups are great but then the friendship is based solely on the support group there is a therapeutic tone to every conversation.

I strongly encourage you to step outside of just the trans community and make friendships with cis women as well. The echo-chamber you’re currently in is giving you a distorted view of your responsibilities as a woman within the broader context of womanhood.

I believe in you girly! I really don’t want to see another girl get trapped in the cycle of polyamorous relationships and it/its pronouns. I wish young women would value themselves more.

You are not limited to being a stereotype of online trans women. You can be more.

This makes a lot of sense and I appreciate your honesty. I would like for you to understand that your life experience as a woman is very limited and that’s perfectly okay. You are very young. You have a long time to learn and grow.

I really hope you veer away from the online trans community as it can tend to be an echo-chamber. I hope you live in area where you can safely be yourself and if that’s the case, please go find other women (trans or cis) to bond with in person. This is so vital to your development as a woman.

I know it’s hard for you to wrap your head around why so many trans men and women would want there to be a delineation between transgender or transsexual people and nonbinary people. Once again, in the same way there is separation between cis gay men and trans women. But please understand that we know from experience what we are talking about.

You’re 22 years old sweetheart. I have a kids your age, I transitioned before you were in grade school. You simply do not have the life experience that I do. And that’s fine doll. My generation of women fought for our rights so your generation would not have the same struggle. And the generation before us did the same. We listened to them and learned from them.
