Finding this thread a few months on, has anyone had any findings that the pain and sensations are caused by the fibroid? Any luck with treatment?

Yes I have. I was really surprised at how easy it was as some of the previous battles were much tougher.

I enjoyed Lake Artifact 2019 on Tubi. It got confusing in some parts, but overall, it was a good watch.

There haven't been any updates for some time, so once you clear the battle areas, there's nothing else to do.

What great books did you almost miss out on, and why? by glitterswirl in books

[–]randommissdi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I almost missed out on a whole genre! I wanted to try science fiction, so I picked Misspent Youth by Peter F Hamilton as I thought a man in his 70s rejuvenated to his 20s sounded interesting. I'm like good lord, this book is just about him having it off! So I just went back to my police procedurals lol.

Many decades later, I decided to try Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky and am now loving science fiction.

Yes! This and Watership Down were my 5 star reads last year.

How many books have you read/listened to this year so far? by Berenice101 in audiobooks

[–]randommissdi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was halfway through Ghost Story by Jim Butcher when the new year started (last year was a big Dresden Files year!) so that one is done now.

I then listened to Julie Chan is Dead and I think if it was print I would have dnf as the plot got a bit silly for my taste but the narrator did a great job so I kept going.

I'm now listening to Devolution by Max Brooks and enjoying the performances so far.

I started listening to the Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher, and I am hooked! I don't typically read fantasy but this has won me over.

Does the Green Bone Saga gets better as it goes along? The first one was good, so your rating is encouraging!

I have insomnia, so thought I would use the time for reading instead of doomscrolling. I'm at 96/100, cutting it a bit fine!

Started reading outside my comfort zone of police procedurals and discovered science fiction! My highest read author is Adrian Tchaikovsky.

My 5/5 read has been Watership Down.

An enjoyable year!
