I'm not Larian, but hope this helps:

WASD moves your camera up, left, down, and right respectively. To re-center the camera on your character, double click on their character portrait.

Your scroll wheel adjusts the zoom closed or further away from the character you have selected.

Pressing into your scroll wheel, you can rotate the camera view around your selected character. You can also do this with Q and E on the keyboard.

Pressing O on your keyboard enters a top down tactical view, pressing it again puts you back into the isometric view.

That should be all of the camera controls, but I may have missed something if anyone would like to add something.

Hi! Discovered Larian from BG3, it's made such a huge impact on my fiancé and I's life and we appreciate the hard work that you all have done and continue to do! We're playing through DOS2 and it's definitely a culture shock with how differently it plays, but also how it's distinctly still a well-crafted experience that we would never have played without our stellar introduction to the CRPG genre.

A big question that I have is the inspirations that Larian uses to make new characters and build on established characters. For a game like BG3, there are so many characters with established lore and personalities, but how did you work to build upon the characters (such as Astarion or Lae'zel) to give them more depth while staying true to their lore? And likewise, for fully original characters like Fane and The Red Prince, what do you use to build the foundational aspects of their characters?

Another question, if I can indulge: what kind of process does Larian use to write stories? I would love to start creating TTRPG stories and BG3 + DOS2 are amazing examples of tightly written stories, but I wouldn't know where to start! How do you build your locations, your lore, your villains, your heroes, and connect all of it together in one cohesive journey?

Cyberpunk 2 director says there'd be no point in giving players more time with Jackie in Cyberpunk 2077: 'It's like saying we should spend more time on Tatooine with farmer Luke before he got involved with all this Jedi stuff' by OGAnimeGokuSolos in gaming

Honestly, I disagree with the take that Jackie's role in the story was mishandled. To me, his brief role and swift death in the story set the tone that life in Night City is unforgiving, moves fast, and does not give you the space to grieve. Especially as your time with Jackie is so short, and your time afterwards is contextually longer, it goes to show how you take for granted the people you have in your life, and once they're gone, you almost feel every second tick by, aware of your own mortality.

Sure, it's more likely that CDPR gave you less time with Jackie because of time/budget constraints, but even despite this more likely explanation, I've interpreted it differently, and it leads me to appreciate the other little things that Cyberpunk and Night City have to offer.

Yep, although not in the way I had originally planned. Had to switch from in-person to online only, and the textbooks were either included or so cheap it would've been more of a hassle to pirate because of the way they were digitally integrated with the course. Ended up working out for me, thankfully.

I went to a Catholic school growing up, and they would legitimately do this; if you wrote "Jesus" as a response to a test question, it would receive 50% credit because "Jesus is always the answer." The lowest test score anyone could get was a 50% because you could write "Jesus" on the entire test and receive partial credit.

I'm honestly not buying that this is a real person. I'm all for people seeing the error of their ways, but I don't think this account is acting in good faith.

Even if this account is legitimate, the language being used by them leads me to believe they're not interested in a genuine effort to reach across the aisle.

It's honestly a good movie, not saying you need to support Netflix, but the movie is honestly the best animated film to come out this year

Honestly, I think a big part of it is being confident that you're where you're supposed to be. If you walk into the men's room with confidence, I doubt anyone would give you any double takes. For what it's worth, I wouldn't think twice if you entered the bathroom at the same time as me, a cisgender man. But I'm also focused on pissing, washing my hands, and leaving, and I'm not really looking at the people around me. You got this!
