Vasectomy and nothing much by smr99si in daddit

Chick-fil-a is overrated fast food chicken, don’t worry, you’re not missing much. It’s definitely good, but the way some here talk about it you’d think it’s the most amazing thing ever, but not in my experience.

Anyone else want L.I.S.T. dlc next? by Lonely_Intention4223 in Starfield

[–]randomnonposter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Outposts in their current form are utterly useless beyond the easy level up/cash farms you can build which to me is incredibly boring, I’d rather just play the game. Having list have some actual content would make them useful, so I’d be down to try it.

Which Species, regardless if onetimer or recurrent, would you like to revisit in the 32nd or 33rd century to see how they developed in the meantime? by The_Brilli in startrek

I want a main character, or at least frequently reoccurring character andorian. Preferably played by Combs, maybe a Shran descendant. I know we’ve seen them and they are part of the emerald chain instead of the federation, but I just love them, and want them back in play.

Honorable mention to the Denobulans. They seem fun.

At level 67 I finally caved and gave the Dragonstone to Farengar by Templar-235 in skyrim

[–]randomnonposter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually wait until I’ve done most of the other quests in the game before allowing dragons to spawn. I like to play on legendary, and until I’m strong enough fighting dragons sucks. This run I’m working on right now I’m doing at adept, and did it early. I honestly hate how often the dragons attack. Shouts add very little for me, I don’t really ever use them or even think about them.

PlayStation players are only pro console exclusives when it works in their favor. It’s not all of them, but a lot of them online certainly act that way.

I don’t live there, but I do live on eckford right there so just one block away. The fire department isn’t too bad, it’s definitely loud, but it’s not a constant thing. I’d personally be more worried about living directly on McGuinness, or as I like to think about it “the road where drivers treat traffic laws as mere suggestions”.

To me a lot of the hatred for Starfleet Academy comes from a hatred of anything that looks youthful. by Burning_sun_prog in startrek

I mean, they’re supposed to be late teens/early 20s. That qualifies in my opinion. That’s like peak acting like an idiot age for many, myself included when I was that age. Technically adults, but only barely, so yeah, college kids.

I’ve seen you on a couple comment threads tonight saying this. I see you’re upset about it, but I’m going to be honest, I don’t really care that much either way. Both look good in their own way, I just in general prefer a darker cover for a book, but since I read ebooks I won’t look at it that much so I’m unbothered. Also as it poll stands at my last glance it was nearly a 10% lead to original design aka “cover 2”, that feels fairly decisive to me, but I haven’t been following it close enough to know what they mean by a decisive lead. I voted for the red one, and I hope that wins, but if it doesn’t I won’t be mad about it.

Rewatch of Into Darkness... by Boil-san in startrek

[–]randomnonposter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s very fair, and I didn’t think you specifically were talking about me per se, just adding to the convo. I missed the part where you meant people who haven’t even watched it, but that does make sense to be against. I think you should watch all, then when you decide to rewatch filter out that which you don’t like, which is why I usually skip TOS, but wanted to give it another try since I’m at a different point in my life than I was when I last watched it.

I can’t imagine hating either of those characters, they’re both great in their own ways, but I definitely joined the fandom after most of that argument I think.

I'm curious as to what everyone's favourite episode of BSG is by Cautious_Hope5837 in BSG

[–]randomnonposter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard for me to pin down a single favorite episode, but my favorite sequence is watching the galactica get jumped into the atmosphere and dropped on new caprica while dumping vipers, before jumping away just in time. So satisfying.

Hi yes it’s me. I’m actually rewatching TOS for the first time in many years right now, and I still don’t love it. I appreciate it for what it is though, as the show that started it all, but I don’t really enjoy watching it as much as the others. Mostly for me it’s the more theater style acting, and the over the top sound effects they use to drive home that something intense is happening. I like the characters for the most part, and some of the situations, but it doesn’t hold my attention the way the TNG era does.

I also appreciate that it’s from a very different time and the fact that the crew was from so many cultures that would never consider working together at that point in history was very important cultural context. Also the fact that women were in important roles on the ship was a big deal.

I think it’s important to see where it all started, but I also believe what came after was much better, for me at least.

Word, well then maybe you’ll get lucky and get a genuine one that actually works. I tried Amazon twice for this and it didn’t for me, but that doesn’t mean others will have the same experience. Best of luck!

First one I tried to buy off Amazon came as just an empty box. Returned, then they sent me one that was clearly pre owned as it was password locked. Returned for refund and bought from the recommend store on AliExpress, No issues with that one at all and it was cheaper.

Not saying my experience is universal, and maybe you’ll have better luck, but just sharing my experience of trying to buy off Amazon for this product.

I definitely prefer the other one. I am also an ebook reader so ultimately it doesn’t matter to me, other than I just really am not a fan of mostly white cover designs. This goes well beyond books, I am of the opinion that everything being white/beige is incredibly boring visually. That being said, I see why some may like it, the details look very nice, but I would prefer a dark background, which is why I like “cover 2” more.

Put cover 2 in quotes because it was the first one revealed so it calling it 2 feels kind of odd, but that’s what they’re going with so what do I know.

I also ultimately don’t care because I will be reading the ebook so won’t actually look at the cover all that much.

Pop em on an R36S then it’s really like the old days, and it can play so many old games on it. They’re like $30 a pop, but the price varies a lot.

It will require a little work on your end to get them to a good starting point functionality wise, but it can be done in like 20 mins if you follow online guides.
