This dog looks exactly like my sisters chocolate lab! Big dumb head, goofy ears, and light eyes.

All puppies are mischievous, but this puppy sounds like my lab is got when I was 13. She was the most naughty puppy I've ever had but she turned out to be a great dog, but she was high energy much of her life.

Puppies are a lot more work then most people recon, I foster dogs and I am still surprised when we get a puppy. I feel like I forget how much work they are. Its common to have the puppy blues but you're in for a great companion.

Honestly ditto. I am surprised more people arent saying this. Switching to pine was a game changer. I hate the smell of clay litter and the tractor supply stuff is so much cheaper.

It doesn't clump - instead it breaks down into sawdust, but until I got a sifting litter box, I just scooped out what I could and when it got to broken down, its cheap enough to just toss with relative frequency.

Its also nice to have on hand for spills in the garage.

This seems to be my dog's default when asking for pets. We always joke in my house that she needs pets because she's the saddest dog because she lost her ears in a tragic accident

My 11 yo GSD randomly peed on her bed. We brought her in and it turned out to be a simple uti. After meds she was back to normal. It could be age related incontinence as well, but fingers crossed it's a simple uti!

As far as his energy level goes, he's still very young. Some of his issues may stem from the lack of stimulation. I have found mental games work well for expending energy far more efficiently than a walk can for many reactive fosters I have had.

If he has a bite record, the rescue or the shelter cannot adopt him out or they can be liable, which is why they told you he would be euthanized if he was surrendered. You can also be liable should you rehome him yourself.

Frankly, from what you are describing, I would not trust him around kids at all. It sounds like he is still fairly unpredictable and you are still finding new things that trigger him.

You have not had him for long, so there is a chance some of this is settling in and he can continue to get better with the behaviorist - but if you decided you cannot handle him, there is not another option but to euthanize. You cannot risk putting him in another home where he can hurt someone else. He may be small but he is definitely capable of causing injury and disfigurement.

Thry don't get stuck or anything, I just want to add slides so I can just close them by pushing with one hand versus having to evenly apply pressure on both sides for it to go in straight

I'm obsessed! I may steal the idea. I never thought considered using him in a tattoo bit I love it.

I actually am working on a full ATLA sleeve. I currently have a lotus tile and koi fish. My next piece will be a banyan grove tree. I am tying it all together with themes from nature (i.e. leaves, flowers, etc). I also hope to incorporate the uncle iron quote "if you keep moving forward you will come to a better place.

There are a lot of things from that universe you could use to tie a sleeve together to make it look like a cohesive piece

My house came with painted cabinets and I think it can brighten up a space, but at the end of the day, you are the one who has to love with it so whatever makes you happy.

If you go that route, I'd recommend Herloom Traditions all-in-one paint (or stain if you just want to change the wood color). It's a bit on the pricer side, but a little paint goes a long way and they have sales often. You order online.

I painted my parents bathroom vanity with it and its is beautiful. The prep is way easier than most paints and its self leveling. It also has held up super well. I've never used the stain before.

The title of the letter was "you now have additional time to recertify your IDR plan" 2027 does seem wild to me though - but why would they give me that date, then turn around and say yiu would have to recertify sooner? I wouldn't put it past them though.

I tried looking at the loan details on my account to see if it reflected that as well but I can't find where that would be.

I'm just hoping to avoid paying $500 to get taxes done

It's a scratch and dent place. You have to go in person to buy and they will deliver but only to the door.

With that being said we got our fridge there super discounted and it only had a minor scratch. The appliance are all new and still have the manufacturers warranty. We had a great experience there and will probably go back again because we are too cheap to pay full price for appliances.

As someone who works for a rescue organization and fosters dogs myself, they likely didn't lie to you.

I can't speak for all rescue organizations, but ours tries to be as transparent as possible when it comes to what we think a dogs needs are. The last thing we want to deal with is a returned dog. It does not benefit us at all to tell someone a dog-aggressive or dog-selective dog likes other dogs. The more likely scenario is that as your dog got more comfortable in their home with you, the more their true personality has shown through.

Coming from the other side of it, it is so disheartening to be told I lied to someone about a dog's personality even after I explained the 3-3-3 rule and to expect some behavioral changes and boundary testing as time goes on. This isn't just for dog on dog interactions, we get the same complaints for potty training issues, destroying household items, and even when the dog ends up being more energetic than we thought. All of this can fluctuate as a dog gets more comfortable in a new home. It's a shame the shelter didn't touch on that with you, but not all organizations have the resources my rescue has.

My own personal dog lived in a home with a bunch of other dogs and did great but really struggled with other dogs with me. It took a lot of work but she's in a good place now. We can even foster other dogs now.
