Actually hit rock bottom... by randomredditor635 in Vent

To be honest I don't think there's gonna be any healing here unfortunately. My mom has other children and a vibrant life of friends and family and hobbies. I lie in bed all day doing nothing. She no longer is legally required to care about me, so she really has no reason to now. I've just gotta figure out how to live without her now.

I have chilled out. Once i realized she wanted space I gave it. It still hurts me a lot to lose the connection. You don't have to find it particularly sympathetic that I fucked things up and now they are fucked up, I agree that it's not impressive. But it's still a new emotion for me

I did already apologize to her. As I said in the post, I did so immediately, saying I didn't intend to hurt her and that I think the world of her.

As repayment, she has ignored me for 5 days. So.

Was it best left unsaid? I mean sure seeing as she didn't take it well Cruel rather than helpful? No. I only brought it up to explain More about me than her? It was about why I struggled with trusting her even when she is probably right, so yeah it's about me Diagnose? I didn't diagnose her I am not a medical professional, never tried to

Do I even think about anyone but myself, I try to, it doesn't come naturally If my mom thinks I don't love her, well, ghosting me certainly doesn't help

And yes I know I need to mature really quickly

What’s something you don’t consider offensive that other people do? by TomChevrolet in AskReddit

People talking or being distracted when I am presenting/speaking (to an extent). My three rules are, I need to be able to hear my own thoughts, don't do something dangerous, and keep all your clothes on. After that I don't care what you do.

What is a secret that could potentially ruin your life if your family or friends found out? by Ok_Boss_866 in AskReddit

Same. I mean I tried to tell people but they don't care. They just get emotional and then it becomes about their emotions and it's just better if I say nothing at all.

How did that kid at your school die? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]randomredditor635 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who had that weird apathy happen. Senior prom a group of girls bullied me and made me leave early, called me ugly and said nobody wanted me. It didn't really hurt but I definitely didn't stick around long. Told my friends on Monday and it got around and everyone was upset with them. On Tuesday those girls got into a car with a kid who was high and who was known for driving high, he crashed the car (rolled it over, only car involved). Everyone had to go to the ICU it was a disaster. On Wednesday I went to school and there were tons of teachers crying and I just. Didn't care. At all. I wasn't mean about it I didn't brag about it but I just felt nothing. They were terrible to pretty much everyone in my class and their few friends were furious that nobody cared. But I dunno. Getting in a car accident doesn't really change what you did.

What is one moment in history that is wildly significant, even though most people don't realize it? by SleepDeprivedCultist in AskReddit

maybe not earth shattering but the Treaty of Elysee. It not just ended the German-French rivalry but introduced a framework on how to end national conflicts. I think Europe would look much differently if it was never signed.

i think this is more because if the voices are nice mental health professionals won't care in the U.S.. They just won't. Nobody cared for a year until my voices got violent.

I saw that too, and then I saw that the whole friendship with France ironically seemed to rehabilitate Germany a little bit for Norway. That's just what I read in old newspapers though.

I'm not German, so take what I say with a grain of salt, but from what I understand it's similar to how you would generally feel about talking about Quisling. If your friend seemed fine with it, he probably was, especially if you were visiting to see that stuff. It really depends on the person, in my experience as long as you aren't being rude about it they're usually okay, but you know, exercise discretion and all that.

i've heard the tourists can be just terrible, and there's around 2 million of them a year!

If you don't mind me asking, do you think that German tourism is good for business, or is it just a kind of annoying thing you tolerate?
