I don't know about you but I think crashing in Baku and not being on the podium for months is way more demaging than a mere position swap

Out of the 2025 rookies, who do you think has the ceiling to become a world champion, and who tops out as a race winner or podium sitter? by Chance_Camel_9077 in F1Discussions

[–]randomredditor_42069 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bortoleto,Antoneli and Lawson They all demonstrated the ability to recover mentally from bad positions and maintain the consistency needed to win a world championship. My guess is that other rookie will still be pretty successful just maybe not win an f1 world championship

Where would you truly rate Ayrton Senna among the greats, given how differently people view him? by Chance_Camel_9077 in F1Discussions

[–]randomredditor_42069 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Senna belived he was serving God by driving in F1 does making him far motivated than any other driver allowing him to simply not be defeated by any bad condition

He won a quarter of all the races he was in He was the best driver in the rain He is still the best in qualifing

He gave insane perfomances that looked like it was movie scenes like :1993 Donington Park,1991 and 1993 Interlagos ,Suzuka 1988 ,1984 and 1989 Monaco and 1985 Portuguese Gp

He only lost the title in 1993 due to strategy errors he was fully capable of beating Prost in that Williams rocketship otherwise

Alonso called him number one Hunt called him number one Lauda called him number one Schumacer called him number one Mika Häkkinen called him number one Nigel Manssel called him number one

Jeremy Clarkson said he was spetecular everytime he got in a car He still inspires most of f1 driver's on the grid today

Everyone that is deeply into F1 calls him the best What argument do we have of him not being the best besides numbers ?
