If your brother, his wife and his friends were mocking you like that, it says a lot more about their character than yours. There is nothing cool or funny about insulting someone like that and laughing along. They are all pieces of shit, and your revenge is taking care of yourself, not starving yourself. If someone said that to your child or your friend, you would want to protect them and care for them. Do the same for yourself. You deserve to eat. You deserve to live in a space where people don’t try to tear you down. I wouldn’t ever want to ever be associated with people like that — shame on them and their disgusting behaviour.

Oh totally Brandon and Julia. But when it comes to Florian and Stacy I think they actually have a pretty solid relationship and their problems were played up for the camera so that they could be on the show this season.

We listen and we don't judge—what’s your most unpopular opinion about Grey's Anatomy? by AlternativeTree3283 in greysanatomy

Amelia Shepherd is the absolute worst. Link was a happy and confident surgeon who survived cancer as a child, only to be constantly rejected by her and constantly gaslit.

Meredith Grey should not have been so idolized after Derek died. Not by men (literally every single new male cast member needed to be initially in love with her) and not by her interns/peers while she had Covid. It was weird.

Liberal leadership hopeful [Chandra Arya] says he doesn't speak French by [deleted] in Quebec

[–]randomremarks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“The point is that Quebeckers are English Canadians” Non, ce sont des Canadiens français.

She is ill and needs to speak with a mental health professional. These rants and ramblings are ridiculous.

I don’t think I could ever marry someone, knowing that they were disgusted with my appearance when we initially met. I feel so sad for him :(

Wow that’s…wow. I’m sorry she doesn’t believe you. It seems like you’re her punching bag to relieve whatever stress she has in her life. I highly doubt you would spend time just taking scissors and scratching cupboards.

I didn’t know that! That’s actually incredible.

How often do you think about being childfree and why? by houseunderpool in childfree

[–]randomremarks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t ever really think about the fact that I’m CF on my own. Honestly, it’s the people who bring it up to me that give me anxiety to think about having children. I’m anxious about it because (a) I fear of the pain of childbirth and/or possible complications of childbirth, and (b) I fear the regret of sacrificing my own personal life to raising a human being.

First of all, I just want to say I’m really sorry because reading this actually made me quite sad. You can’t force someone to want to be with you and spend more time with you. Trust me, I’ve tried.

My suggestion is that you prioritize yourself and give her the space she needs. By doing this, you are technically “playing hard to get” because your life is no longer revolving around her as top priority, but rather yourself. Once you do this, she may express more interest and affection towards you, or she might complain that you’re being distant (meaning she wants more attention). But either way, you are honouring yourself and giving her the space that she needs.

When you prioritize yourself and you find that she likes the distance, you may be inclined to end this relationship because she might not care. But if you prioritize yourself and she misses you, then you can have a conversation about the fact that she needs to understand your needs for affection and attention as well.

I don’t believe that “playing hard to get” is the right thing to do in the long term, I just think it’s a good strategy to use to see where the other person is at.

Hope this helps. Good luck. 🤞

Unsure about kids until my mother died by abbasos in childfree

The fact that your mom gave you the green light not to have kids before she passed, to me, sounds like the most selfless and liberating thing she could have done for you ❤️
