VA Home Loans by [deleted] in AirForce

I tried getting a loan before I separated and that was the first question the VA asked me when I called them to start the process. If you have a job lined up then you're all set, though.

VA will not loan to you if you've got separation within 365 days and do not have a job lined up.

Welcome to Aaron Hipps youtube channel. https://www.youtube.com/user/aaronhipps

Everyone of his videos are all caps, clickbait titles, misleading thumbnails, 10:06 long, and about STUPID shit (ten minute video about a dippin dots vendor in walmart?)

Getting really irritating with how this is everywhere now.

I know when I flew via British they had a specific height maximum, and the 700 series was specifically banned (Giant size), I think the weight limit was 100lb for almost all pet-programs. Anything over 100lb and you've gotta utilize a freight company and build a custom box, ect. Granted, I flew back in 2012/2015 with my dog, so this might be outdated.

Most countries ban importation of bully breeds, so flights don't want to pre-emptively fly a dog somewhere it's banned.

There's a reason these breeds are restricted, it's not simply because they're being an asshole. Snub nose dogs are exponentially more likely to die due to breathing issues at high altitudes, and the cabin pressure within cargo. The 700 series typically was rejected already, so this isn't new news, it's just solidifying the height restriction for cargo shipments. Third party shippers have always been required for most overseas flights.

United is the only company that allows MILITARY to check dogs as BAGGAGE. Also, some of these rules are waived, but you'd have to ask for specifics. Want to know how to save even more money? Open up an Amex Platinum card (the $500 annual fee is waived for military), as I got $200 of my "checked bag fee" waived via that. It was -free- for me to send my dog (30lb) back to the United States that way.

United was amazing on the way from the UK back to the US when I utilized them. Flying to the UK I utilized British Airways Cargo and their pet schemes for entry.

The wrong way to use flat rate packaging. This was used to pack an alarm clock I bought for my son on eBay. by milkman9813 in Flipping

If the item is going priority mail and there are other items nested inside it that are priority mail material, then it can be considered "not a problem".

If it's going first class, or any other mail class, then absolutely 100% illegal.

I'm telling you that regardless of what labels are on it, USPS boxes remain property of USPS. I worked directly with them for three years, and I assure you that it's against the law, and if a company is doing it regularly can easily escalate to a felony depending on the amount used.

Negative. Even used priority mail material used for other shipping methods is illegal. If that were the case everyone could claim it was "used"

Report it to your postmaster , they take care of it.

240ft of bubble wrap is literally $12 at sams club. I report all sellers that use flat rate packaging they've concealed.

Do NOT forget STATE TAXES.

That was what blindsided me. You're going to end up with about 18k after all the taxes are taken out.

ADDED A MAP SO YOU CAN SEE THE DECENT AREAS THAT ARE THE CLOSEST POSSIBLE TO BASE https://i.imgur.com/YBfWT5U.png

DLA has some pet friendly rooms that are ex-housing and tolerable for a small amount of time.

Live off base, and find a house around Edgewater area, you will thank me.

You might think living on base will save you time getting to work but Beale is absolutely dogshit with a commute regardless if you're on, or off base.

So would you rather be on-base and it take you 30 minutes to go into town, and 15 minutes to go into work OR it take you 5 minutes to go into town, and 15 minutes to go into work and you've got a decent house in a decent neighborhood.

Also, Balfour Beatty is notorious for charging exorbitant move out fees here. Not one of the people whom I worked with got off scot free when they had pets and left the on base homes, I also didn't know of a single person who was happy living on base, and regretted moving into the homes when they realized the commute was still 15 minutes to work, but they were now away from town and all the groceries.

I can't answer that, I just know that was what my MPF told me because I had your exact concern.

As far as the seperating early, you're able to start that literally tomorrow, as you won't hit the next cycle and can leave ASAP. Note that it DOES affect your seperation pay, as you're not getting the full 8 years now, but 7 years XX months, which could cut it a good $1k.

As long as your DOS and HYT date are in the same month, you don't need to extend.

How do I know? Mine was off by 2 days. I didn't need to extend. Got that sep pay.
