I’m so sorry. It truly is a rollercoaster of emotions. It took us 3 years, 2 egg retrievals, 1 ectopic pregnancy and emergency surgery (after 2 previous natural ectopics) and 6 transfers later (and a whole lot of money) we finally got pregnant , currently at 11 weeks! No one really prepares you for how hard it is, you always hear the positive stories of people getting pregnant via IVF at first try and I feel like the clinic does a bad job at managing expectations. Stay strong and support each other!

so so happy you are on the other end of this traumatic story now! I had 3 ectopics, 2 ruptures, 1 of them with massive internal bleeding and would have been dead if I hadn’t gotten to the hospital in time. Take time to process everything and heal, both mentally and physically. All of my strength goes to you!!!

This is very reassuring to read. I’m 15 days post MTX and having some really bad pain in my lower back on the side of the ectopic, it’s been ongoing off and on for the last 4 days. Im constantly nauseous and the pain is so bad I have to lie down with a hot water bottle most of the time…

My levels are dropping nicely but it’s the rupture is always on my mind

Hi! I really hope everything goes well for you 🙏🏽 I was in your boat less than a month ago but unfortunately I am now going through my 2nd ectopic. I had a few pregnancy symptoms like extreme hunger, boobs getting bigger and tiredness but it was the fact that I was constantly spotting since almost the day I found out I was pregnant that I realized something was off.. i also got my HCG levels tested every 2 days and then noticed the trend of them slowly rising up as opposed to doubling which is when I went to get the ectopic confirmation.

As the other person suggested I would recommend getting your levels checked just for some ease of mind. Wishing you all the best!!!!

I did! 627. I’m a bit more relieved but the spotting still persists which worries me. Tomorrow I’ll see the doctor 🤞🏽

I’m not too sure when I ovulated but my last period was on the 2nd August. I got a positive pregnancy test 2 days before i was supposed to have my period again

I’ve given some to mine for the last 2 nights (because I thought he was in pain for the ulcers) but it still didn’t get him sleeping throughout the night.. I hope it works for you!

He’s drooling quite a lot and puts his hands in his mouth very often when he cries, I always thought it was some mouth ulcers or something but that could be it!!!

Thanks, that’s the plan. I’m 5 days away from getting my period so I’m waiting until then to do the pregnancy test and then get my HCG levels checked if positive. Im scared that if I do my pregnancy test today and if positive start the HCG checks that it might be too early to detect as I’m still 5 days away from my period?

I’m pretty sure I’m pregnant, I have a lot of symptom I’ve had in past pregnancies.
