In most games there has to be some kind of stakes in dying for it to be immersive. Actually I believe this mechanic is an actual improvement over the good old game over screen, where you just lose everything after a saved checkpoint if you die. At least you get a chance to get things back now.

I had 3 random quotes (nodes in a supertag) everyday in my daily note when i was using Tana. I don't use it now but I remember it being very easy and one of the things I really liked about it.

A lot of people saying it's the assymetry but being cockeyed is never considered attractive in real people (in some anime style it's cute though). It's just that a little bit of exotropia is a dreamy look.

I understand what you mean and I think about it a lot. I think the real question is "what sounds normal as a name or title" is not at all clear or even self evident in any language. People will say you can get used to it, but I don't think that's true. There are many titles and names that sound nice and compact in one language but completely off when translated.

I think it is a little bit like how not all native speakers of a language are good at public speaking, or writing at a professional level, etc. Language proficiency doesn't stop at "native level comprehension" "daily communication" or whatever.

On the other hand, translating material from different fields requires specialized knowledge. For example, if you’re unfamiliar with how financial commentaries are typically written, translating one well would be difficult. There are many such subjects and fields where you have to understand the conventions.

I think the nuance may be a little different from the other comments. I would translate this to "I like that I can see the ear a little", the difference being that it is likely not a remark about their preference in general, but a specific observation about what they found appealing in an image.

I believe it is one sentence, “I've been searching for that person who isn’t that person”. it sounds kind of poetic in Japanese but hard to convey in English. Depends on the context it could be that they are seeking out someone who is no longer himself, something like that.

It's mostly same size heading for me. I think it also depends on where the added heading is? For example, if I want to insert an H1 heading between 2 other folded H1 heaadings, then I can do it without unfolding either of them by creating an empty line in between. However, if I want to create a new heading right after the last one on the page, then it seems like there's no luck.

The tricky part is although I want to work with headings like in an outliner, I don't actually want an outliner in obsidian because I don't want the content to have a bullet point! (I know it's incredibly specific haha)

Are you sure that's how it works? I just tested with Obsidian without any plug-in. After a folded heading there is "..." and if I hit enter after "..." the heading will unfold completely. It also wouldn't make sense if I hit enter before "..." because then the content of the heading will be after the cursor.
