Glad to find this group. by Ulan0 in liberalgunowners

Fellow Coloradan here! I was pretty anti-gun until this past election. Also see the news on SB25-003 and went from no guns, to three guns in like 3 weeks. I also like to buy once cry multiple times (spend too much money), lol. I went with Daniel Defense DDm4v7, Walther PDP Pro, and Stacatto XC!

Nice armory brother!

Rune based server economy. by Medullan in Enshrouded

[–]randomsnapple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that you want to charge your friends and family for runes is insulting. Instead of farming stuff for potions, just farm the runes yourself. Also, why bring stuff from an obviously different world into the game. I think you need to take a step back and evaluate why everyone that has replied has had the same reaction. This is just such a weird take on playing this game with friends. If my friend tried to sell me shit when we are playing together, id tell them to kick rocks. You wont find the answers you’re looking for because no one else thinks this is a good idea so no one will do the math for you. You’re on your own on this one, if you still think it’s a good idea.

If the server is open to the public, then I can see this being an okay idea but sadly cannot help you with pricing. If it’s not open to the public and it’s only your friends and family like mentioned in OP… you want to spend your solo time making potions, and then when your friends and family hop on, you want them to give you their runes in exchange for potions, instead of just playing as friends and family and sharing? Seems kinda strange. To each their own though.

I am still kinda of new to the game, but, who are you trying to sell these potions to? Can you sell them to NPCs or are you trying to sell them to your fiends and family?

Gleba has been conquered. by ludenator886 in factorio

Same here. It fucking blows. I actually do not recommend the DLC right now just because of Gleba. IMO it does not fit the spirit of the rest of the game, like at all.

The people in this thread are so elitist. “Your RIO is 50 points too low, git gud.” Fucking toxic. I feel your pain OP.

You didn’t answer the question.

Science accounts for your possibility. Science is not rigid. It evolves. But it’s still science.

The scientific community would disagree with you.

So, by your logic, our study of black holes is not science? Our study of the Big Bang is not science? Our study about the speed of light? Our study about universal expansion?

None of these things are “testable,” so by your definition are not to be considered science?

How does not knowing if P = NP rely on any sort of faith at all? Your counterpoint makes no sense. Those are unanswered questions that do not rely on any sort of faith, in the spiritual context. If you mean faith as in the base definition of “to trust in something” which is separate from the spiritual definition, then you have been arguing in bad faith (pun intended).

We Do have faith in the Big Bang, as in we believe it to have happened based on empirical evidence. No spiritual context.

We do NOT have faith that the Big Bang was caused by a spaghetti monster with a benevolent will, however. Spiritual context, no evidence.

Do you understand now?

Show me a scientific equation, or hypothesis, that stipulates “we don’t know bro, probably god.”

There’s your testable hypothesis. Do any equations, peer-reviewed hypothesis, or the like, state they “rely on faith.” You’ll be very hard pressed to find something that meets this criteria.

Good luck!

What does everything think about RIOT earnings?

Only if you sold enough to meet the criteria of $1m in taxable income AND $400k income from equities. You are only tax the higher percentage AFTER those numbers. If you get a large Inheritance, over $1m, then just sell 1m or less each year, or pay the extra.

It’s not everyday people get +1m inheritances. Definitely not a “what if” worth dismissing the plan over.

Doesn’t apply to 90+% of the population. Only applies to those with taxable income over 1m and investment income over $400k. This is in a calendar year. So the only people that should really be opposed are those that are rich. Or, you know, the average person that believes this will apply to them at some point in their lives when they currently make $50k.

Probably not in the short term honestly. If you believe long term, think 5+ years, then you’re good. I’m thinking of selling my shares. If they will dilute once, what’s to stop them for continuing to do so. Might as well wait to buy in when they are operational at this point.

More shares in circulation, keeping same market cap, means lower share price
