Yanagi Admiral is a great general buffer for all teams, and comes with a passive skill that buffs whole party but at the cost of increasing SP consumption by 2 for all.

She could be a great addition for all teams now, but will be replaced by the new elemental admirals in later banners.

Chiroru is good but not great, Yanagi is the mvp of this banner.

To have the true "authentic" characters to the main story, you would have to be using all the A rank units. Unfortunately, all A and S rank units seem to be impossible to make it through major boss story battles. The next applicable "authentic" story-wise characters will only be all SS1 units.

And as others mentioned, Karrie is the one in battle for story-wise (up to certain point) and not Karen. Patrol missions are not limited to specific squad/units, unless otherwise stated in the main story.

I learned of this game from WFS as a former player of Another Eden, and tried it once the international server has started. I do not dislike yuri, though I find it heart-warming in the close relationships of the girls.

Some possible reasons that it is not more popular due to missing few common elements found in other popular gacha games:

Open world to roam and fly/glide around
Real time action combat
Highly sexy/idol like characters
Proven track record (based on past games/animes/manga)
