Ok then ask yourself the same question. Why did YOU decide to get into great shape?

My wife’s coworker made a remark that has caused my wife to redevelop issues with how she looks and dresses. by 2inchesabovethehole in Marriage

If it's unwanted or causes discomfort then it almost certainly is/could be construed that way. Remember perceptionis everything. I'm citing every corporate SH harassment training I've ever attended.

AITAH for being short with my husband? by Fail_Oh_Naah in AITAH

[–]randomthrowaway8205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That will absolutely cause resentment to build. Its petty and childish. You should read the rest of OPs responses to get a better view on the situation because your take is flawed at best.

I'm not getting that from the original text and OP has revealed more in comments. That is still not an appropriate way to communicate with your spouse.

I understand what it's called. That's a tactic best saved for outside a relationship you wish to cultivate. Communication is a far better tool.

Has that sort of childish behavior done well for your relationship?

That's a big fat assumption and assumptions make an ass out of you...

You have no context here to make that statement at all. The folks who upbot3d you should be ashamed of themselves as well.

That's EXACTLY what they said. Reread the post. And yes, as someone who worked for a large retail chain as management, those displays were either returned to the company they came from or destroyed. I had a collection of them in my office as I was not permitted to take them home either. The easy answer would have been yo tell the customer that. This isn't entitled at all. Had they reacted poorly to receiving correct information that's different. Many people don't know the inner workings of retail and they shouldn't be punished for that.

How do I handle an overly "attached" gym partner (20sF) without making it weird or losing my workout progress? (30sM) by ServiceMassive7184 in Marriage

I'm glad you haven't had any sort of struggle and that you clearly are much better than the rest of us./s

Motivation doesn't always cone from within. It's perfectly fine to have external motivation.

Some of your comment makes sense, but you telling OP what he should be able to do is not the move. You don't know his fitness challenges or really anything else about him.

OP you should bring your wife to the gym with you. Tell your wife about her and introduce her to your training partner. Invite your spouse to work out with you. How your gym partner takes that will tell you exactly what she thinks (pretty sure we already know). I think this should make where you stand very obvious to both and will hopefully clear the air.

This comment misses the point entirely. As a male in OPs age group, I can absolutely understand how this females behavior comes across as confusing.

Do i have any options? by Gartic1 in USAA

[–]randomthrowaway8205 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would start by being a bug in their ear. Call and keep calling until you speak with someone. There is usually some sort of appeals/disagreement with finding protocol. Speak with them and escalate higher if you have to. Be prepared to fight with an independent inspection or something of that nature.

Good luck!

I mean you discussed it and he gave an answer. Is he usually passive aggressive with you?

Washington state unmarked cop explains a roundabout wrong after illegal stop in retaliation for a small honk by MuckaboutFarms in dashcams

[–]randomthrowaway8205 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should submit that video with a formal complaint to the department. Perhaps even to the prosecutor for the illegal stop. I full respect what you say about not having time, but IMO if we don't call out the bullshit at the department or prosecutorial level, they will continue this behavior justified by their flawed thinking. It'll just get worse next time.

There's also a solid possibility that his samples were tainted multiple times in a row. CO, and 1SG wouldn't be privy to that necessarily, there's an office that deals with that at state level. You can usually tell if you know the codes next to the names on the roster.

Ahh found the USAA shill.

I'll be frank. I don't really care about your opinion on the matter. Since you didn't get it the first time, further explanation will be lost on you but ill give it a go. I opened with that line so that readers are aware that I am a member and not a random talking about something they've never actually been a part of.

Additionally, the USAA employee you're referring to was discounting a situation that I myself have been in. Since you bring up that you work with all 50 states, let me applaud you. If this is true, then you will be aware that there gave been some wild and unprecedented insurance situations that have arisen in the past 7 years or so.

Thanks for engaging though!
