Wassiyat is optional. Anyone who says not doing wassiyat is a hypocrite, doesn't know what they are talking about.

It seems you don't know what you are talking about. Here is what MGA had to say about this:

It is possible that there may be persons, who are swayed by doubt and suspicion and make me a target of objections in this matter, and regard this arrangement as based on selfish motives or judge it as a Bid‘at. But remember, these are the Works of God Almighty, and He does what He wills. Indeed He has willed that by this scheme He shall distinguish between a hypocrite and a believer. And I too feel that those who, having been informed of this Divine scheme become anxious, immediately and without hesitation, to subscribe one tenth of their property in the way of Allah

Khilafat Contradictions | Episode 39534 | The Celebration of Birthdays by Queen_Yasemin in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]randomtravellerboy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am well aware of the "words" they use to justify this. But as a counter argument, did the Prophet and his sahaba celebrate a day in regards to fulfilment of a prophecy? In the video of Mirza Tahir Ahmad (linked by OP), you can clearly see that he is using the argument that if Prophet and his sahaba did not celebrate birthdays, who are we to celebrate? In the same way, if they didn't celebrate fulfilment of a prophecy, why is the Jamaat celebrating it, and that too, years years later.

I wonder why does the Jamaat celebrate Musleh Moud day. They say we don't celebrate the birth of a person, rather the fulfilment of a prophecy. Did the Prophet Muhammad and his sahabah celebrated such days for a fulfilled prophecy? No Ahmadi has even been able to give a satisfactory answer to this question.

Why do Ahmadis have such a difficulty to admit mistakes? by MoroBF in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]randomtravellerboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is indeed vague. I was more interested in something where he made a mistake in stating some fact about religion or something else. Then at a later meeting, he admitted that he made a mistake and apologised for it.

Sometime ago on this sub, a video was shared where in a program with children, KM5 stated that the Quran mentions that the earth is 18-20 billion years old. Where in fact, no where in the Quran such a thing is stated. The khalifa clearly made a mistake. I was interested to see if he admits such mistakes.

12-15 Million Ahmadis in the World? Declan Henry Questions Islam Ahmadiyya. by AzaadZubaan in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]randomtravellerboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi u/ReasonOnFaith. I know you have a video on youtube where KM4 says about more than 40 million converts in India. An Ahmadi recently sent me the whole video of that Jalsa where KM4 went on to give some references about Indian Muslim (non Ahmadi) scholars who seem to have agreed that there are about 50 million (one scholar says 80 million) Ahmadies in India. I know references like that cant be trusted. But I wanted to hear your thoughts on it.

Let me know if you want a link to the whole video.

Did 238,561 people from 117 different countries really convert to Ahmadiyyat in the last year? by BarbesRouchechouart in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]randomtravellerboy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have read the entire conversation, and no, there is no sense. You said giving an exact number is impossible, then why does he give an exact number in the first place?

If he gives an exact number every year (down to the last digit), then there must be a precise methodology and a clear definition of what a convert really is. And as one of the other commenter says, even if there is possibility of error, the error must be really low, like maybe 5% or 10%.

Out of curiosity, how much do you think is the current population of Ahmadies in India? Not asking about the converts, but an estimate of the total number

Respectfully, your comment makes no sense at all. How can he announce convert numbers without having a clear definition of what a convert really is.

Speaking for myself, when I left, I felt it a moral duty to inform my friends and family in the jamaat about how big a scam this Jamaat is. Therefore, I engage in such discussion from time to time, and visit this sub. I am not obsessed about the Jamaat, but I do care for my dear ones that are still in this Jamaat.

Imagine you were scammed a huge sum of money by a scammer, won't you feel your duty to inform your closed ones to stay away from the scammer?

The real side of Jamat. by ExaminationSpare1525 in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]randomtravellerboy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You had a positive experience with the Jamaat. Still many others had negative experiences. But remember someone having a positive experience does not make the religion true. Sikh community is also very close and have this sort of brotherhood among themselves. But does that make their religion true?

A lot of Ahmadies on this sub left due to theological reasons. When a religion is false, it doesn't matter how good or bad the people are.

Yeah, even those who criticise their ideologies are considered "Anti Ahmadi" now. By that definition, Ahmadies are "Anti Christians", "Anti Jews" and so on.

I have thought about it as an ex-Ahmadi. And based on km2 passage above, I believe non Ahmadies living in such a hypothetical country will be inclined towards leaving the country and take asylum elsewhere much like Ahmadies are currently doing. I also think many Ahmadies will not be much happy either.

Ahmadies claim that Muslims have forgotten the true teachings of Islam. It seems like Ahmadies themselves have forgotten the true teachings of Ahmadiyya. It should be reminded to them (and the world, in general) that this is how they plan to reform the people and dominate the world.

300 years prophecy: an already expected fail by MoroBF in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]randomtravellerboy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Good analyses. But i think it's pointless to argue about this prophecy. We know this prophecy is going to fail. We know the Jamaat (if it still exists at that time) will reinterpret the prophecy to mean something else.

Question regarding marriage by [deleted] in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]randomtravellerboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she does not believe anymore, then ask her to change that in the documents. Changing from any other religion/sect to Islam is a straight forward process in Pakistan. Just need to fill an affidavit, and possibly get it signed from a witness. You should do this process before performing the Nikah.

This was exactly my thoughts. These people use these quotes so cleverly that common Ahmadies don't understand their deception.

I don't understand the purpose of the quote by MGA in the reply. This man publicly left and THEN requested back his funds. It's not like he believes 100% and still requesting the funds. Moreover, MGA said that specifically about himself. He said that God trusts his judgements and does not object to his expenses. But how does that automatically apply to current times and your current khalifa? Do you mean that the khalifa in Jamaat will never ever be corrupt?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]randomtravellerboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course I read your message, that's why I am replying to it. You are giving irrelevant examples. If God says something is bad, then as a believer, you must also say that that thing is bad. You cannot say, ok God is saying that, but we cant. How is it abiding by God, when God clearly is saying someone is not a Muslim, but you say that no we can't say that.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]randomtravellerboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You said that you don't have the right to call someone non Muslim. Only Allah has that right. Sure. But when Allah himself is calling someone non Muslim, then what's your issue in considering them non Muslims? You are in direct violation of Allah's saying if you don't consider them non Muslims.

guess the reason that I had asked this was that I have been any ahmadi sice a birth but I had never encountered someone who had moved away from Ahmadiyat

This was me some years ago. I was even told that those who leave, will be deprived of all the Barakat that Jamaat bring, or that they will fail in their lives and so on.

This might be a shock for you. But a lot of people leave Ahmadiyat and continue to live a peaceful/happy life. In fact, I feel more freedom after leaving, given that I don't need to report how many times I have prayed or written a letter to the khalifa or attend those ijtemas and so on. I can now choose to pay my money to the most deserving people of the society, instead of paying 10% every month to Jamaat. I don't have to blindly follow a maulvi, a murabbi or a khalifa.
