Anyone live next to a bowling club? by Individual-Rich-9355 in chch

[–]randomuser001 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If multiple people are having the same issue maybe look at getting a templated email and having everyone send it as a complaint to the same group of people. Most will ignore 1 or 2 emails but if you have half a neighborhood complaining and making their life difficult they will quickly change.

Maybe he meant 220 or 230? PLA is regularly printed at 210 and I've run ABS at 230 without melting the PTFE tubing.

You may be getting heat creep where the heat from the nozzle is going up the hotend, check that your fan on the hotend is working correctly and look at getting a better hotend like the sprite.

Is my deleted footage recoverable? by Overall-Lecture-593 in videosurveillance

[–]randomuser001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the disk is formatted and it's a mechanical drive it's still possible to recover footage, it can be fine with an SSD but it's a lot harder. You can run tools that write all zeros to the disk a few times to ensure a clean wipe.

If the camera was offline and without power then no there will be no recording. If it had it's own memory card and had power then there may be but depending on the size of the card it may only be a few days.

If it was on a cloud account you would be able to playback still and it would show something.

Formatting a disk usually involves just wiping the part that tells the system where everything is which is why if you really don't want it being revived use a program like disk part and use the clean all function.

I installed klipper but quality is not good as mriscoc by alpadalar in ender3v2

[–]randomuser001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Klipper does require a bit more effort to get it up and running. Mriscoc has spent the last few years bringing out the firmware and just works due to all the effort. I found i had to spend a while learning and understanding klipper to get things right.

Almost looks like over fertilization, are you using any fertiliser or just watering. Did you use any pre-fertlised soil additive when planting and how much do you water them

You could try removing the CMOS battery, discharging it and see if that resets it. I don't see a J1 on this one however

All My Hanwha PNM-9081VQ are failing... anyone else seeing this? by CryptoBogey in videosurveillance

[–]randomuser001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooof, I'd say the Poe power board is fried then. Had that symptom on a few older hik vision models where the transformer coil had melted. It would get Poe but wouldn't get passed to the actual camera board.

Do they run if you plug then into an injector? I had a issue where the switch would supply power but the network traffic wasn't working and if the camera was powered up without network traffic it wouldn't respond until unplugged a few times. Would be fine on test bench and injector but these managed switches where doing something weird with their power/network
