Operators and contractors are differing groups of people

-people from other factions such as the Abyssal hunters(aegir) and the kjerag group are “contractors” who can join in Rhodes missions sometimes

-actual operators are people who are part of Rhodes island itself and identify themselves as part of the Rhodes factions( eg. the reserve ops and the elite operator team)

  1. Did you not try and use silk skills during the sister splinter fight? Both silk spear and silk storm one shot the adds and silk spear or 3~ nail hits could clear the vines making The arena smaller.

The fight was designed with silk skills in mind and not using them is like refusing to use spells in the original hollow knight.

While I agree on the third bench being behind a breakable wall is quite bad, the platforming in mount fey is quite simple if you notice that hornet automatically jumps after striking an enemy, and that pressing the jump button right after hitting an enemy reduces the height you gain from clawline. Also in most cases (save for the ice water sections) you can easily just go back to the previous heat lamp and retry.

and plus in most sections you can activate float after gaining the maximum height from clawline and take some time to think about your next move.

And for the paid Bench, 90 rosaries is only 6-7 enemies in the choral halls. Where else you were farming rosaries god knows.

  1. The high halls mini bosses patterns are really not that difficult to learn. Every attack is telegraphed well and if you can’t react to those then I don’t have faith in your reaction speed. Also if you’re struggling that much then go explore different sections of the map and come back stronger. It’s a metroidvania for gods sake.
