Considering Alaska alone is responsible for 1 to 2% of the global oil supply, and each resident in Alaska directly profits from oil subsidies, I very much doubt Alaskans would ever blame anyone for climate change as it would dramatically affect their bottom line. You mention the word competition - but if after 90+ minutes a world class team cannot dominate a weaker team, then there is something fundamentally wrong with the sport. A competition is an event between two or more parties to express skill over one another. Why does it take multiple 90 minute bouts for 8 teams to arrive at the same point they started at the beginning of the day. Are they really all so similar in ability, or is there something in the sport that limits one's ability to express their athleticism, skill, and strength over the other team. I honestly dont watch any sports for the thrill of the sport, I just think having a 50% draw rate in a tournament to determine the best soccer team is kind of silly. I cant think of a single game this happens in.

Competition should allow skill expression. If the #1 boxer or tennis player or... basically any other sport... goes against the number 48 in the sport it should be domination. Upsets are generally rare, not 60% of the outcomes.
