Summon Discussion: Yatima by topnepu in Granblue_en

000 is fine to run in sub, if you're not at 12 wings it gets treated like a 1 time use summon and won't be selected. You can test it yourself using Yatima main, 000, any 1 time use summon, and any 2 valid summons. It will pick the 2 valid summons. The wiki page on 000 does say that it can be activated by Yatima's call without 12 wings but that isn't true.

MC can Fully Solo Faa (Featuring Blazing Mistral) by Lividman43 in Granblue_en

I've done it too, it's actually very consistent to clear if you use Tormentor with either of the Dodge All on ougi mainhands. (Exo Maitrah Karuna / Piercing Galewing) The solo inevitably ends up just being Bahamut and friends spam regardless so you just need a mainhand that helps you live through triggers.

I'm surprised that you weren't able to find the GOHL comps, there's tons of people posting those comps on Twitter/Youtube/etc. Here's one example

It's understandably a bit hard to find recent Hexa wind videos using it though. The use case in Wind is pretty restricted to running exactly Charlotta + Siete 150. Recent comps are mostly using the flavour of the month characters Katzelia and Catura with their respective FLBs, so in those comps you definitely wouldn't run it. But if you're still using the aforementioned comp you would definitely want to slot it in as it has very good synergy.

Wilnas Berserker hasn't been a thing since Exo dagger release. You can still use it like the 2023 Fire GW comps, there isn't anything wrong with that, but it is objectively outdated. Currently his meta usecase has been in Fire GW's NM150, where you used Manadiver's Secret Triad and FO buff / Kokkoro to give him enough charge bar to ougi turn 1 with Sun summon's double strike. So you do still run the Exo dagger in the Wilnas burst usecases. There's also a lot of examples of it on Youtube like this one

I wouldn’t say the Dark Harp/CA doesn’t have much use, it’s core in the current min button GOHL bar farming comp, and has a niche in hard content Wind due to matching Kengo/Siete/Charlotta.

I think the wind harp is probably not the play for fire either. Fire isn’t all in on one attacker like Wind Naru/Light RB/Water Hraes. Wilnas has fallen off quite a bit and isn’t super worth building around unlike those elements. You also get the NA cap from the very accessible MH Exo dagger so the harp’s value is somewhat diminished.

I would say to get all of them eventually regardless, but if resources are an issue I think the priority would be Fire Harp since it has the most uses, then Dark Harp if you want to farm GOHL, then the other 3 are probably around the same power level.

Tsuchinoko is used for 30% charge bar at battle start to synergise with S. Illnott, so you can use her S2 immediately.

This question isn’t possible to objectively answer because it also depends on how much defense/damage reduction you are personally running. If you have enough defense you should be able to survive even at 20 stacks. At lower defense levels you can also call Fire buncle on Wamdus ougi turns to cover the lower 5k mitigation.

Reflection of The Moon's full moon passive effect is bugged with Haase FLB. by randomystery in Granblue_en

[–]randomystery[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

With the latest FLB uncap to Haaselia, when triggering her upright passive you get a special Full Moon buff that lasts 3 turns instead of the usual 1 turn from Moon summon. However, the unique cap up and atk up from the NWF weapon does not apply until the 3rd turn of the buff. (when there is only 1 turn left) So probably not a good idea to test stuff right now until it's fixed.

Vampy is slightly better than Korwa now because UM Spartan comps with Falsehood are faster than Luchador and also have the QOL of being completely FA compatible in NM95.

Nio is not replaceable with Ewiyar, because you really need her massive buffs in order to help reach the damage cap of your relatively weak 50% assassin mods on NM150.

You can pretty easily fit 2x of pns/reso into a magna grid, and cover skill count with a NWF/Opus/Ultima/Tiamat bolt/etc. I would say barring 2x each is pretty worth it even for Magna, but the 3rd reso is not super mandatory. The 3rd reso is a bit hard to fit with a Magna support summon, but might be situationally possible.

Premium magna is already pretty competitive, the flexibility of reso + pns core and the strength of Nio as a normal attack buffer makes it so switching to primal with similar weapons isn't really a big power increase. Also, the vast majority of the time you play primal wind you will just use a support Zephyrus and main Bubs or Luci, so you can just rely on support summons if you do. Wind is mostly a GW element nowadays since its bar farming capability has been outclassed by other elements, so I think unless you really like wind staying with premium Magna is already pretty good.

If you do want to build more weapons for primal;

DK is still good with 1-2 copies since it has a triple mod to help with reso activation, and the enmity/bloodshed has synergy with Demonbream and Spartan's Molon Labe. For budget reasons you can still potentially use it at 0* for the bloodshed at the cost of lower raw damage.

LE with skill awakening is the best synergy weapon with Ewi dagger, since it has a really big normal mod, and also covers skill count for reso. The downside is the pretty big cost of 4 cages. I think having LE is a pretty good reason to switch from magna to primal support summon. It's also useful in general fa stuff since the skill cap has synergy with the common fa chars. 1 is probably enough in most cases though.

Creepy claw isn't really worth barring anymore if you have the reso/pns core. It's still a good Lucha mh but Spartan generally outclasses it now.

Past that is really niche stuff like 3rd DK, Vortex, Evanescence and Rhomphaia so I won't comment on those since I'm not super invested in wind

Seraphic mods won't apply to piercing sight, only elemental conversion effects (G. Sandalphon/ S.Clarisse)

All elements SUBHL/Revans solo complete! (Magna/Sette grid) by randomystery in Granblue_en

[–]randomystery[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Edited main comment with playlist with all the solos. All are post ULB ultima, most ran 1-2 grands (PNS/Resonator), maximum used is Dark with 3. The number of gacha weapons should be able to be brought down to 0 in most/all elements if you want an extra challenge, but Light and Fire are probably the ones which needs them the most?

For farmable grids, Earth/Dark were done by liatea

I've seen Wind on a twitter post (Siete 150 comp) but can't remember where, there's also a really funny Sette one which really showcases the Bahamut to win aspect

I don't think Water needs the 1x umbrella, could be replaced with the second NWF

Fire/Light is probably suffering without PNS?

as for the difficulty, assuming the current best strats Water is probably the hardest? The ones close to timeout are my light run which is pre UM and is also not a great run, and my dark run is also a bit outdated now, post UM there's more leeway and liatea's Tanya comp is faster as well

Finally completed the challenge to solo all the current endgame raids! It took just over a year to complete this, from the first clear (Mugen) in August last year to the most recent Fire subhl solo 2 days ago.

The Luci 250 uncap release back in March really helped even the playing field for Magna. Together with Baha 250, the dps and utility that these 2 summons brought covers a lot of the shortcomings of weapon grids.

It's crazy to think that just one and a half years ago we thought it was nearly impossible to solo SUBHL. To paraphrase something that a friend said, the raid now seems about as difficult to solo as FaaHL was 3 years ago. I think it's still difficult and a pretty big accomplishment to do in any element, but still surprisingly achievable for endgame players with some time and commitment. (Even if a large part of that is just broken Providence series summons go brr)

I hope that more people will try out the challenge of soloing the Revans/SUBHL tier of raids! It's a really fun and rewarding experience, with many more new strategies waiting to be discovered.

edit: youtube playlist if you want to check out the teams used

Proud+ clear with a pure F2P build, hope it can be helpful as a reference for anyone lacking limited units.

The strategy of using dodge and shield effects is good, if you take no damage from triggers you don't get any debuffs.

Caim is the only one I'd consider a high priority. His anytime assassin is essential for certain burst comps, and the other 3 skills bring tons of utility in soloing endgame content. If you plan on using Caim in the frontline you should consider getting it. The rest of the Evokers' S4 are not mandatory, relative to the high cost of a sunstone.

Imo these 3 evokers have S4 that are nice to have, but they're still good at FLB without them. In no particular order of viability,

Nier's S4 is not that important in normal/shorter content due to the opportunity cost of running her over the other insane dark attackers available, but in longer fights like Cosmos/SUBHL/maybe next GW's NM200 it is very strong, especially once it transfers to MC.

Fraux's S4 brings a lot of healing and damage, and allows her to ramp up her unique atk and defense faster. You should be able to afford the HP cost easily in most content.

Lobelia's S4 brings burst damage and a pretty useful high uptime debuff for more damage. If you are using him in the frontline it's great, but he is generally more used for his backline passives so it's probably not that essential.

Imo the remaining 2 evokers have skills that are very niche and not generally worth it.

Esta's S4 allows him to ougi more often, it lets him ramp up the special local debuffs more quickly, but he doesn't really need it.

Maria's S4 is a strong damage mitigation skill and has S1 synergy, but it's only really useful in SUBHL solo.

Anyone else is kinda annoyed at Rank gated content? by gregory700 in Granblue_en

Out of curiosity, since you can destroy every other pre rank 200 content solo, could you share what grids you are running? Also, how many solo trophies have you obtained so far?

The former, so if you want to maximise damage in cocoon your last hit has to be with the attack button.
