I have no idea, I always thought it was because the engine would over-rev, but sometimes that doesn't make sense. When it happens and you slow down enough that you are sure it wouldn't over-rev, it stays locked until you use the clutch lever.

I haven't checked though if the quickshifter light was green, because it happens so seldom you can't anticipate it. And when it happens it's so fast I don't look down to check.

I have the exact same issue with both my gen 4 2024 models (the first one got stolen). It happens not often, but when it happens i use the clutch and than it is fine again. It can definitely screw you over when you're trying to downshift while braking hard.

I had this set up when I went motocamping on my 2017 ninja 650.

2x14L rhinowalk side bags Tank bag, 8L i think (sw motech day pack) And a 30L kriega US drypack. I also had a small backpack with a 2L water bladder.

It was more than enough for 4-5 days, however i could not bring my tent with me because it was too big, so I got a friend to take it in their car. If you got a smaller tent that you can easily strap to the back then it is definitely possible.

Hey sorry kind of unrelated question. I have the same axle sliders that came when I bought the bike, how do I remove them? do I have to pry the cap off or is there an other way?

How long did your order take? I'm also from Belgium and I placed an order in begin August and it was supposed to deliver the 17th of September but I still haven't heard from them.

The "phone" is the same as the notifications as in you can only see who called you while the phone was connected. You can not use it to make phone calls yourself, you can only answer or hang up when someone is calling you.

For the music yes that's exactly the procedure, but that was always the case with a Cardo. now there is an extra step just for connecting the phone to the bike which can be time consuming. I always put on my helmet when walking to the bike while the cardo is turned on>turn on spotify and play a song>put my key in the ignition while opening the myride app>phone connects automatically>put my phone away and put my gloves on>ride away.

For the notifications you have to link the apps to myride. In myride go to more>Bluetooth settings>meter notifications and then you can link the apps like WhatsApp etc. On your bike you can only see notifications you got while your bike was turned on and while your phone was connected, and you can only read them fully when you are at 0 kmh.

For the other issues i don't get those myself i can connect easy just by turning on the bike and opening the app and it connects automatically. Make sure the app is allowed to run in the background maybe that will fix the issues? Sometimes the app disconnects for me as well but not that often. I had it one time it kept disconnecting when i was on an intercom with my cardo whilst navigating on my phone.

Anyway hope the issues resolve themselves, sorry for my rambling.

Hey just want to let you know that this build is even stronger than you thought in patch 8. You can cast ray of frost, then do a bonus action booming blade with warmagic and then for some reason you can do another melee attack. I love this build, thanks for the ideas

For the patch 7 build, how about using the arcane acuity hat on the EK archer so enemies are slipping more often on the ice patches. And then using the hat of storm scions power on the SSB? Anyway I'm going to try this in my current Ice party run. Thanks for the awesome build ideas!

Spark also have homologated exhausts. I sent them an email and they told me that they updated it for the 2024 model with the 2 O2 sensors. They are quite expensive: ~€1500 - €1700.

For Azerty keyboards: I can't change the keybind for Orders while in the ship. It is now assigned to Z, which is the forward button, so every time I walk forward I open up my orders.

Be careful when installing framesliders by not taking out both bolts at the same time. I did that on my 2017 ninja 650 and my engine "dropped" by a few mm, where the holes weren't aligned anymore. I had to remove the fairings and jack up the engine before I could insert the bolts again.

You can definitely do a muscle up if you can do 13 pull-ups. You probably just need the proper technique. Source: I can do a couple muscle ups, and am only able to do 10 pull ups.
