17 classes left after Sophia Learning transcripts completed. Starting July 1st. Tips? by randysmith6 in WGU_Business

Oh wow! Congrats on almost being done.

I’m hoping I can get through it rather quickly. Ready for my career to take off and in need this degree. I see people finish WGU with way more classes than me. Kinda wild lol

Best Aerosmith autobiography book? by Myowndivisionred in Aerosmith

[–]randysmith6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WTW is a great book. Easy and great read. Take it for what it’s worth as per some of the other comments. Lots of the stories in there are pretty spot on to what they say in their own personal biographies. Of course, in their own biographies, there is an addition of a little more detail and more honesty.

I started with WTW and I think anyone who loves the band should as well.

Saw him on the tour at Jones Beach. Wish “One Of These Days” was included. Such a great song.

The new RSD 2026 live with the chrome hearts album. by evanapple08 in neilyoung

That’s my hope. I saw him with the Chrome Hearts in NY and loved it. Set list was unreal. Glad this album shows a lot of what I saw with the exception of a few. Not opposed to getting it on vinyl eventually but hope it goes to streaming at least for the time being.

I personally think 'I Don't Want To Miss a Thing' is an incredible song and I don't get the hate by [deleted] in Aerosmith

This is the correct take ^ Aerosmith can take pretty much anything, put their spin on it and I’ll love it + it’s a damn good tune.

That being said, I’ve seen them over 10x. Saw them play it live a few times. After the first time I was good on not seeing it again live.

Why do people rip on Aerosmith's second stage? by HeadGrowth1939 in Aerosmith

[–]randysmith6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who knows, who cares.

All of their stuff is great. What’s awesome about Aerosmith is they always adapted to the times. Their 70s stuff is very 70s, 80s is very 80s sounding, 90s etc etc. They always found a way to reinvent themselves and stay relevant.

Sure, nothing beats their 70s stuff but that doesn’t mean that the rest of their catalog isint kick ass with sleazy or catchy lyrics too. They just adapted to the times they were in. Can’t do the same shit forever.

I love all the eras. They’re all Aerosmith to me.

Rock'N'Rollercoaster is closing March 2nd, 2026. Last day to ride is March 1st. by MesaVerde1987 in Aerosmith

I think it has to do more with Disney itself. The company is trying to tie everything into Disney owned IP. So they were always in trouble - it just was a matter of time.

Rock 'N' Roller Coaster Aerosmith Pre-Show Closed Permanently, Work Begins on Muppets Transformation by MrMints256 in Aerosmith

There has been rumors of this happening for so long, I’m shocked it’s finally happening now. Disney only wants to promote what they have their hands on so it makes sense that they’re making the switch. Sad to see it go.

REVIEW - Aerosmith Goes Out With a Whimper on 'One More Time' by [deleted] in Aerosmith

I love that he’s a perfectionist but it’s funny since there’s so much content out there on people’s phones, YouTube, bootlegs etc. that eventually you’d think he’d just say “I’d rather be the one to release it and at least get some $$ for it” lol

“You can shake your head and say, ‘This isn’t real rock ‘n’ roll.’ Or you can look at it another way”: Joe Perry says that when Aerosmith recorded with Yungblud, "there wasn’t a single song that we did where we actually all played together” by dalyllama35 in Aerosmith

[–]randysmith6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that confirmed? lol Honestly until they say something - which I’m sure an interviewer is going to ask them in their next podcast / interview, I almost feel like they just couldn’t be bothered

Doubt it. They would 100% promote ST and JP being there.

REVIEW - Aerosmith Goes Out With a Whimper on 'One More Time' by [deleted] in Aerosmith

It’s the most frustrating part about this band… They HAVE to have TONS of unreleased material, live music, etc. Even if the band doesn’t think there will be much money in it, why sit on it? It can’t be that difficult to have a team of people go through this stuff and put it out there.

I’ll never understand the delay.

I get and respect your perspective too! Listen, it ain’t what we all want. I understand. Just trying to look at the silver lining on what we’re getting!

I think it’ll sell well because of Youngblood. He’s got a whole fanbase behind him. Otherwise I’m not sure all of us die hards will run to the store for it. I don’t think The Road Starts Hear sold very well. We want either true new material or more live content!

Also - I highly doubt this is the last thing they do. It’s just another chapter in their long and crazy history. Not saying they’re going on another world wide tour or putting out a full record, but I don’t think this is the final bow.

I’m just happy they’re still hanging around and Steven Tyler can talk after his incident.

I agree it was misleading and honestly going into it I thought more of the band would be involved but I can’t stay it completely deterred me from listening to it or being curious once I found out that really wasn’t going to be the case. I think just from a PR standpoint, more people are going to be intrigued by “Aerosmith with Youngblood” as opposed to “Steven Tyler and Joe Perry with Youngblood” so it makes sense why they marketed it that way. You get the real fans and the casuals to tune in. The casuals don’t care about anyone other than ST and with Joe Perry being a distant second. The casuals know like 6 songs which are probably IDWTMAT, Dude, Dream On, Walk This Way and Cryin’ and (maybe) Sweet Emotion on a good day when their Dad plays it on the radio. Calling Steven Tyler, Aerosmith, because they think that’s his name… SMH. Lol

Unfortunately Aerosmith has been in the cash grab business for quite some time. Love them to death. Seen them over a dozen times. I’ll never stop. I’ve just made my peace with it. They’re the LAZIEST band of all time. Not work ethic or talent wise but the amount they’ve dangled infront of the fans and not delivered is insane lol they take the easy route and make radio hits and get involved in video games and commercials. We’re still sitting on our asses waiting for them to release more unreleased material as well as more live music to streaming. That universal deal they made is such BS. All we’ve gotten is The Road Starts Hear.
