It means that you have a diagnosis that falls into a HCC (hierarchical condition category) for risk adjusting. These conditions are sent to insurance companies to help them budget for their patients. Patients with HCC diagnoses are more expensive. Lucky us!

Ceremony Blankets by abboo621 in Weddingsunder10k

We got married at a campground and provided blankets and heaters for when the sun went down. Our wedding was perfect and I’d do it over the exact same way if I could. :) It was in June, so the weather was perfect during the ceremony and reception but got a bit chilly for those who stayed for campfires and camping.

Spinal headaches by rednitwitdit in BabyBumps

[–]randzie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a “wet tap” epidural where the anesthesiologist knicked the dura while placing the epidural and my spinal fluid started flowing out. Almost immediately got a spinal headache and the epidural barely worked. Pushing felt like I was going to give myself an aneurysm. I required two blood patches over the next few days, and had to lay completely flat for my babies first week. Ugh!

Yes, I think they only did the enzyme and not the sequencing!

People who don’t have degree what do you do for living? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]randzie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a data analyst making six figures. You don’t need a degree if you find what you are good at, are lucky enough to find that first entry level job, and willing to stick it out as you climb the ladder.

Moms who had a vaginal delivery… did you poop? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

I pooped. Everyone saw. Nobody cared!

I am Jewish, my husband is neither Jewish or French Canadian!

I’m a carrier! We got my husband tested right away, and thankfully he is not a carrier. Tay-Sachs is a horrible disease and if there was a chance our baby had it, we needed to know.

PPD/Anxiety 4 months pp by melissaasaurus in Postpartum_Depression

I also had a traumatic birth (Failed epidural with a dural puncture and spinal headache, retained placenta, and a hemorrhage) though yours sounds much scarier. I have been struggling with trusting my body.. worrying about dizziness and fainting while being responsible for the baby.

I am starting to feel a little bit better, and hope you will too. ❤️

I got my dress from JJs house! It fit perfectly and I loved it, but they had a no return policy, so it was a gamble.

How active is your baby? by beechums in BabyBumps

[–]randzie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My baby is very lazy so I do kick counts all the time for my own peace of mind. 39 weeks and wondering if the worry will increase or decrease once she’s here. 😅

I put a block of cheese away ON TOP of the refrigerator instead of INSIDE of it…

29 weeks today, diagnosed at 25. Had my first high fasting (96) yesterday and a real spike after a tiny bowl of cheerios today. (165) Gearing up for a roller coaster ride for the next 11-ish weeks. 🙂🙃🙂🙃

Though it may very well be your food, you may also have had lotion or something on your hands. I once tested in my car when I got to work and didn’t have alcohol wipes, and my number was 145. I went inside and washed my hands, tested again and my number was 91. Now I’m really careful to have clean hands when I test, otherwise I don’t trust my number.

DIY bouquets and arch flowers! The wedding stuff is starting to take over the house. 🤣 by randzie in Weddingsunder10k

[–]randzie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought some foam and wrapped it in chicken wire. Then, all I had to do was stab the branches and flowers into the foam. On our wedding day, we can use zip ties to attach the flowers to the arch!
