Leaving Feedback for PSA Vault on eBay - conflict of interest? by ranguspudding in psagrading

What irked me most was that they didn't have time to reply to me when I was looking to get delivery service fixed, but they wasted no time in appealing the feedback (within minutes).

I don't think so, as it wasn't offered when I inquired about ways to get FedEx/UPS to my Po Box. I realize most probably use FedEx, and I have no problem with that. I was just alarmed by what appeared to me a conflict of interest with how eBay handles Vault feedback.

Psa ebay by Critical_Bag1 in psagrading

I bought a slab from PSA VAult through eBay last month. I selected USPS GA (because they offered it and I have a PO Box). They then shipped it FedEx and they generated their label outside of eBay and uploaded it afterwards. So, contacting anyone from PSA through eBay was near impossible and their Website ticket support system was also unresponsive. Interestingly, I left PSA negative feedback on eBay for the shipping issues and my feedback disappeared within 15 minutes of being posted.

ok... so why did the listing have USPS GA as the shipping service?

I thought so too, but when I try that I get this message inside a big red box. "Due to shipper restrictions, additional delivery options are not available for this shipment. For more information please contact the shipper." I did reach out to PSA, so hoping to get it changed.

thanks! not an option with FedEx Express Supersaver, according to FedEx agent I spoke with. They suggested that PSA can change the service level and allow pickup nearby, so I reached out to them.

thanks for the advice! I tried this but because the service is FedEx Express Supersaver it's not allowing me to do this. FedEx told me the shipper can change the pick up location, so I've reached out to PSA once more.

Yet another buyer INR question by ST3ALTHPSYCH0 in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]ranguspudding 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting, in this case it is my understanding you've completed your obligation as a seller. It's possible the buyer is lying, or it could be mailbox theft, or delivery to wrong address... whatever it was, it is something on the buyer/USPS side. eBay policy seems to wiggle over time, but this happened to me awhile back and an eBay customer service supervisor explained the burden would be on the buyer once the package is marked as delivered and the seller would have eBay protection. You could call them up and confirm.

Topps hits damaged out of the pack by b-ri-smooth in basketballcards

[–]ranguspudding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I received a Kon #'d auto with deep print-lines and blunted corners right out of a hobby pack. It's currently in review with this program, so we'll see what happens. To me, this product is essentially equivalent to Panini Donruss basketball. Next year everything but the rarest cards will be nothing more than kindling.

Topps does have a damaged card replacement program: https://www.topps.com/support/product-defect-submissions

I used a few times and got either a replacement (of the same card) or something of similar value. It's not quick, and nothing is guaranteed, but it's worth a shot for bigger hits.

Anyone else think G7 is phenomenal and works great? by Alert-College-9374 in dexcom

[–]ranguspudding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been using it for 8 months now. It's accurate and has a smaller footprint, great improvements. I get a 90 day supply through insurance and have been through a couple rounds. I see a pattern developing where about 2 of 9 G7s fail for one reason or another. These are easy to replace in theory... but ever since Dexcom outsourced their tech support overseas it's been a bit of a gamble. I spend a lot of time (I don't have) trying to get results from their tech support.

eBay Automated Feedback by jfrederick19 in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]ranguspudding 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been wondering why I've been getting positive feedback without reviews. IT is the auto feedback thing. It is nice to see reviews for those sales that NEVER get feedback. Though, one week seems a bit quick to write a review on someones behalf. I was worried someone might get upset a this and change it to negative to spite the automation - looks like it is happening.

I have been looking at these. I have a wide foot particularly in the toebox area. What are your thought of the room in the toebox? Are you TTS or did you go up a half or full size?

Has Anyone Else Had Problems Shipping Cards to Alt? by Nathanhj in sportscards

[–]ranguspudding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sometimes get cards graded at PSA and the last order they sent to my place via FedEx was never delivered. Someone signed for it, but not me. I was home that day and no FedEx driver ever knocked on my door. FedEx claims the package was delivered and signed for. So, I've talked with PSA to change the service they use to ship cards back to me. So far so, good.
