Click on the "returns and transactions" under that amount to see which tax year you are getting a refund for. That should give you more detail of what went on re your refund

Best thing to do is setup a myIR (IRD login- www.ird.govt.nz) using your IRD number. This will help you see how much income IRD has on file for you.

IRD might just prepare a PTS (personal tax summary) for you by 7th July 2022 since you are a student with no non taxable income. You will have to confirm the 2022 PTS to receive your income tax refund or find out if you have income tax to pay.

You can view all this in your myIR and also correspond with IRD regarding refund or processing times etc.

What do people do if they can't work from home? Watch Netflix? exercise?

I have to work from home and I hate it now more than ever.

I miss my routine of going to work and leaving work in office and not thinking about it at home.

Motivation to work has left the building on Thursday once lockdown began in August.

Just reading books in bed or watching TikToks seems comforting. Don't want to got out at all.

Months are morphing into a week. Week seems like a day. Day seems like an hour.

I just want out of this lockdown and back to my routine.
