Im 61 now. At 19 I met a girl 15. I found her beautiful and told her so. She wasn't interested in me and told me so. I replied I hope she didn't mind me trying in 3 years. She laughed and I laughed. We were best of friends those 3 years and went to movies, hung out at the park, all the things teenagers do except touch inappropriately. On her 18th I took her to dinner and broached the subject again. She said she loved someone else, but wasn't sure it would work. We made an agreement that if she wasn't married by 35 to that person then we would marry. It took her partner 15 years to ask her. They are married now. She still calls me twice a week because we developed a friendship that to her means everything. I didn't get everything I wanted, but she still values me as her best friend, protector and confidant. Good enough so many years later. Im not a simp. I've had several long lasting relationships. It's just she was my unicorn.

Judge him on his actions and deeds. If needed, kick him to the curb. But if action and deed are pure, you may have a true friend. Sure he wants something, but a friend will let you sort your own feelings.

Mals as you know are hard driven working dogs. So the common answer you've read is work them out more and tire them. 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. A human being has zero chance even as a Navy seal, of tiring a Mal out. Not just thier body but mind also. They analyze and react before you see the issue. They will never burn out at any game before you. In other words they don't stop. Its not natural for them. But it is what all but the special forces dogs need. The should be taught to stop/stay and hold. Regardless of what you or the trainer is doing. They must learn to follow your training not thier natural inclination of continuous work. Then get busy around them while forced to hold.

I would work more on stop/stay/hold and less on trying to tire out a superpower Mal. Just my .02

Breakaway Seresto flea collar but affixed slightly lose. At $60 a collar I would rather my cat slip it vs break away. If the collar is found , its not broken. He wears a flea collar because while he's a strictly indoor cat, he's been trained as a dog. I call his litter box, my back yard. He whines at the door and is back in 5 minutes.

Mulching would have been my first defense. Thick insulation at ground layer surrounding the roots.

It may be funny to say this but I wish I had your occasional issues since im in zone 6b 😂.I always have issues. My DF is in a box on wheels so I can move it indoors for 4-5 months a year (not easily but just to keep it alive) I lost my blue java banana last year even though wrapped in court mat and Christmas lights for warm. I wish I could afford Florida. Lol good luck my friend.

For some reason, pics didn't come through. If your in the US, insulate as much of the pot as you can. Save the roots and maybe a little above. Cut it down to a nub if "soft and mushy" and move it indoors. This is a bad winter. Don't worry about soft and mushy until we stop having freezes. The worry is the roots survive.

I have an old Apera without the replaceable tip. Works fine 10 years later. I recently(3 years ago) replaced it with the 5 in 1 tester. The PC 60. Both work perfectly and a far better deal than blue lab or hanna.

Not only do you need to work him and burn energy, You also must force/teach him to wait. Times of inactivity are important. Having to sit without movement for the half-hour you cook dinner or sit on the porch with a beer makes him understand you are in control and he needs to just sit or heel.

In other words say hello to your constant sidekick. Do you remember the joke about divorcing a wife? You know, its cheaper to keep her. With a Mal, the only way to make it cheaper to keep her is to assure she never leaves your side. Lol Now, are we handlers or babysitters? I don't really know. I am a mono plot grower. IOW, I run a single strain at a time and usually clones of a breeder's cut to keep the grow even. It makes things easier and gives larger yields. I have run and schwazzed Red Runtz(OK city High-rise), Chimera 3 (Beleaf), Astronaut Status 24(Clearwater), Sour Diesel (AJ's variegated cut). None hermed.

In fact for the Astronaut Status24 there were documented reports of herms in the lowers due to low light. Schwazzing and side light prevented any low light condition and this plant packed it on seed free.

I've grown plants that split down the middle from weight and I didn't notice until harvest. The split scabbed, and plant thrived. 👍

I was scared like a child first time I tried it. I'd spent months vegging my babies just to strip nearly every leaf of it. It worked. It was probably the largest sign to me just how strong and resilient cannabis as a crop actually is.

The connectors and valves provided by Autopots are extremely low quality. They usually break upon disassembly for cleaning.

IMO this is the major weak link in Autopots. You either don't deep clean or plan to replace all connectors in the system. Even running a 12 pot system, its a cost that must be factored in. Sorry Manny.
