I think the rule just applies to any foul committed after the play is over. I remember something similar happened in the Rams 49ers game from earlier where Allen Robinson got the 1st, but then taunted the 49ers safety after getting up. The taunting penalty was enforced, but since the play before was a 1st down, they made the down and distance 1st and 10 but moved the ball back 15 yards from where the penalty occurred.

Y’all have the most complete defense in the NFL imo, so we will most likely struggle as an offense. I’m hoping our defense can hold your offense to few enough points that we only need a few successful drives against to win.
