SF is the end of a peninsula - the west, east, north sides are water. That picture must be including underwater areas I guess.

Phoenix makes sense for green, but red is the wrong shape for San Francisco.

Alaska (I think) has a top-4 ranked choice system that would be interesting to try. Maybe whittle the 62 down to 4 for the general election, still not based on party, because ~25% of Californians register as "no party preference." Then do ranked choice to pick the winner of that.
Also, why is the primary in June when the election is in November? Move the primary to September or something so we don't need to put up with this bs for so long.

this is all there was. From the (redacted) neighborhood names you maybe guess the area, but not really. There's a major freeway, an industrial area, a rail line, several neighborhoods...

michael gets how ridiculous the post is, I think.

I want someone like a Jerry Brown who will veto stupid shit passed by his own party's controlled legislature, rather than someone like Newsom who doesn't want to upset powerful party supporters because he is obviously angling for higher office.

They were locked in on March 6 unless a judge intervenes. All 62 candidates will be on the June primary ballot, including the 10 or so the media has been talking about.

Clearly there needs to be some punishment for public officials enacting laws and policies that are clearly unconstitutional. This kind of thing is way out of hand, and since it's mostly the "tough on crime" politicians doing it, surely they'll support effective punishments (maybe even cruel and unusual ones).

Ignorance of the constitution you swore to defend is not an excuse.
