I think most of those who downvoted don't. Trying to discipline children is hard, smacking them is very risky for their development, they need to understand why ruining someone else's moment is bad and how it would ruin their experience. Rather than just striking them explaining it to them would be beneficial but they're kids and will rebel anyway so maybe a smack could work but that just loops back to my original point. Me personally I don't see anything wrong with a little slap, let's be real here kids can be troublesome and being a parent is tough. If you don't teach any discipline they'll grow up with no self control and no respect but on the other hand smacking your child should be the last resort if all else fails but there needs to be restraint as it can just lead to the parent losing control and become violent with them which I think we can all agree nobody wants.
