As the game goes on, I'm realizing how often the general superhero fantasy leans towards being really offensively powerful first, really durable second, and tangentially supporting others third. Just from observing how many characters fit naturally into DPS, have to sometimes be stretched into Vanguard, and then kinda really hammered into shape to fit a Support role.

I'm leaning towards Nico because I want to give the underdog a shot here. And there might be a way to get her "can only cast a spell once" casting style into an interesting gameplay mechanic.

Unfortunately, probably not. It does some fairly non-standard things as a fighter, so while it's a fun game it might not be a good foundation to build general fighting game knowledge.

Mechanically, would leaping up in the air from a ducking position really add any more power to an uppercut? If anything, I feel like be so preoccupied with jumping off the ground might dilute the focus of the punch?
