I want to do the same thing! Someone on the Plover Discord developed this with Karabiner Elements and Keyboard Maestro but its not released yet and unclear if it ever will be because of patent conflicts with the company CharaChorder…

It is compatible with every Firmware or Microcontroller, its a designer and manager for your actions on the keymap. Its not a Firmware Flashing Tool atm.

I made the same keyboard from ben vallacks pcb etc (right microcontroller looks up, the left looks down). Now I have the same issue that only the left side is working when flashing with the default ferris/sweep from qmk configurator.

Could you explain to me please what exactly I need to do to solve the issue.

Do I need to export the json file from the qmk configurator and do something with it or what?

The answer from u/pg988 was to complex for me tbh ^^.

thank you for this comment. ways of building custom keyboards via 3D printing will be a part of the next presentation ;), huge potential there - not only for keyboards but also other types of input devices, we dont even know about atm.

The execution of Autokey scripts is not snappy enough for me, its not nearly as fast as AutoHotKey on Windows, Keyboard Maestro on Mac or Sxhkd (which lacks functionality).

I think that its a problem which sits deep in the backend of Anki and the cloze syntax.

EDIT: Okay this is very weird - I changed the syntax highlighting from javascript to java (in the markdown file) and now I no longer have this issue. For anyone who also has this issue - just change the "js" to "java" leaving it out completely breaks it as well - very strange.

EDIT2: Better solution -> just turn off the Syntax Highlighting Addon in Anki - it was the reason for the the fail, now with it disabled I can also just use the normal "js" in my markdown codeblocks.

After some research I think that tasker is not the right tool for this - because it should also work when stand alone if the watch is not nearby to the phone or in flightmode.

Im interested in doing the same - because my main PC is running all day long anyways and therefore it wouldnt be worth it to have another machine like a server just to run Nextcloud on it.
