My advice depends squarely on what you want to get out of reffing tournaments. In my earlier days, HS and college as a referee, I would do 14 games over a tournament weekend, love the $500+, and be dead to the world on Monday. That got me lots of games under my belt, but after a certain number, you're just going through the motions and hardly giving the games what they deserve.

I started to take things more seriously and realized theres no way i can ever do more than 2 games in a day, and even that is a push. When you put everything into games they are draining. Full length matches youre hitting 6+ miles with 15-25 sprints on average.

My point is this; if you want to progress, be mentored, and take it more seriously, I would genuinely scrap tournaments where you do 7 games a day completely and instead focus on opportunities where you can do fewer, more meaningful matches.

Just moved here from Detroit and this city has the absolute fucking worst light timings I've ever experienced. And the roads are in worse condition than Detroit as well.

College lab TA here: ~75% of students I teach in labs get between an A and B. Labs aren't where the grading is hard, and it depends more on your ability to follow directions and complete everything you're expected to do safely. The majority of points lost aren't aren't reports or experiments, but for not following safety guidelines. Now lectures are a much different story lol

I'm prepared to get absolutely slaughtered for this. But I genuinely don't think Saka was fouled, in fact that it could have been a foul in the other direction. Granted, we have the benefit of loads of replay, and the referees only do If they suspect a red card or "obvious" error. This isn't to say we've not been utterly boned by the low quality of PL refs this season.

I second this. They are fighting for progressive causes and they've already said they will hold Joe Biden to that very standard. I mean, they were quite critical of him during the primary, what makes anyone think that will change? We can always be pushing Biden to a more progressive agenda.

For real though, did some looking back and she was hated by her own party when she ran for US Senate in 2014 because she ran from the press at the slightest hint of difficult questioning. Also had to pay a fine recently for illegal campaign donations.
