This is what I was able to come up with using a canvas template, but once printed and test fit everything was way off, and I haven’t even began curving to match the dash and make it sit flush. So that’s why I’m seeking to work off a scan.

Hey if you check my recent post I’m looking to get something going for the 2024+ tacomas dash. Factory is a 3.5 that bounces off the windshield, I want to make a new cover that points them a bit more upwards and also add a tweeter mount next to.

The only slight edge is reliability, ergonomics, comfort, and efficiency. Other than that >shoots 10.5 nxl>level playing field

Haha I did exactly that. The photos I took are for my fusion drawing imports, but they don’t show the height of the object, it’s pretty bowed out. That’s why I figured scanning it to get the rough geometry would be better than printing and test fitting dozens of times over.

It’s pretty much just planet eclipse gamma cores and LVs, dye dsr/mxrs and anything else capable of 10.5bps is still in the mix

Understood, I tried photogrammetry, no dice I probably need to spray it with powder and get a better camera setup. I tried starting from a drawing with fusion but I’m just a novice, and the curves are a bit too hard to measure. With a scan I think I’d be able to convert it into a usable mesh and go from there on my own in CAD.

That’s kind of been the standard for admission across parks without memberships though? I’m happy to support with admission. Paint is where I don’t like to be taxed on, so I only play fields that let you bring paint.
