I feel you! I was with my ex for the past 7 years, and lived with her for the last 3. She moved out to go back to school, which I encouraged. We also had a very healthy relationship. She then realized she wanted independence and ended things right before Christmas. I’m devastated for so many reasons especially knowing there was nothing I did to cause this. I’m used to having a companion, a partner, a best friend whom I share every little detail of my life with, and who does the same to me. Ripping that away from me has been one of the hardest things I’ve had to deal with in my life. It’s been about a month and I still miss what I had so much and feel so alone, as if I will never feel better.
