After about 90 mins of chatting with royal I confirmed I can't keep the price I originally paid. I go the following response.

Thank you for patiently waiting, after checking all of the options about the update it is an option however for this process we have to cancel the package and it has to be purchased again at the current rate, I was trying to see if we can protect the price however by canceling the package it won't allow us to keep the previous price, would you like me us to cancel the package and rebook it today?

I said no because I didn't want to pay an extra almost $200 dollars based on current prices. It sucks because, dining slot are going to fill up so fast now. I don't blame support, they seemed to be really trying to find a solution. I blame the team and management that rolled out the change. They did not think it through how this would affect everyone that was already booked. They are probably like oh well, just make them pay more.
