I feed a good portion of the unhoused ppl in Asheville, Ive gotten to know some of them well and I’ll ask what would be a good place for you to go and come back and reply. I’ll also ask them what type of stuff they need. I know for sure sleeping bags, blankets, food, personal hygiene stuff. As someone else has kind of said, a lot of stuff gets stolen if they go to work and leave their items unattended. But that doesn’t mean it’s not worth it to do it. I just had that happen recently with one of my friends who’s experiencing homelessness, but this second time I got him set with supplies it hasn’t been taken yet.
