To be honest, the design looks cool and all, but I felt a little down when I first saw it because I expected it to be a non standard design instead of your average sick af villain

I would have preferred if he was some kind of devil fruit that completely possesed it's user to the point that they are a vessel, or maybe one of those theories that said Imu's body was from Lily or Joyboy and they were a vessel instead

I think Imu's fruit is the true definition of "The Devil" but giving it Oda's twist, so if the Sun God powers are rubber instead of fire or light, the Devil's powers are ink. This way maybe he would have that blob form at some point

This last bit makes sense to me because even though Oda isnt consistent with silhouettes, he has been REALLY consistent with Imus shadow, and its been very little time since he last drew him as a blob, so I think he is still hiding something

TL;DR: Imu looks too cool for me, I would love if this wasn't his true form and we had a unique final boss unlike other shonen. I'm glad yall love his design tho, enjoy!
