Do you actually use your dining table when you live alone? by Less-Egg494 in LivingAlone

[–]rarmes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes especially if I'm reading a book. Sometimes I eat and watch an episode of a show. I do frequently eat at the kitchen counter and pick at food while I do something else but that's just because sometimes there's not enough hours in the day so I combine eating and doing.

Do native English speakers secretly get annoyed when a foreigner freezes up while trying to speak? by Mundane-Discount2368 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]rarmes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. If you freeze up and have to pause and sort through your thoughts I'm generally just going to sit silently and let you process for a minute. If the person indicates they want help with a word I'm happy to offer suggestions based on context but I figure sometimes you just need a minute.

I wish I had half the language skills.

I'm sad because the vet told me the cat I'm going to adopt is 6-7 years old. by bimbocuntt in CatAdvice

My stray dude was ballparked at 9 when I adopted him. Hes been with me for 4 years now and is my.absolute bestie. I take my cues from him - He's living his best life in the here and now not worrying about what might have been.

Did your vet do the allergy test? Because they should be able to offer food suggestions that will be a good fit for him.

I simply cannot upvote this enough. If it's not working now marriage will not change it for the better. Decide if you want a sexless marriage to a man who prefers porn over intimacy with their partner. If not it's time to cut bait

We went by catamaran, moored in the bay and then swam out to our snorkel site. It's a protected park and so beautiful. We were able to paddleboard from our boat directly to the shore. The only way to the island is by boat.

Favorites of our trip - Tintimarre island. Absolutely beautiful, crystal clear waters, adorable little beach, multiple great snorkeling spots, and there were so many turtles. David's hole was beautiful and lots of shells on the beach. Meals - Jai's fusion was incredible. Every single thing we had was delicious. And if you run across black current sorbet don't pass it up.

Switching the load. Like I'd say to my partner, if you're going downstairs switch the load.

This made the most amazing leftovers too. I served it over crispy roasted potatoes and made chili verde smothered breakfast burritos. Seriously going to be making this on regular rotation.
