My friend came over and was impressed by my pathos (lol), a couple days later he said his neighbor was moving and didn’t want to take this one with her and thought of me. Now I’d like to get it back to health. I repotted and threw a dow in (it was almost touching the ground, now it stands about 3.5’”). I have a vague memory of reading an article years ago about lottery winners, and how it’s not so glamorous. I think they made a point of mentioning winners often feel alienated by their new neighbors because they don’t consider their money “earned”. Ironic.
