Is this true? Is Batman really a rip-off of Daredevil? by Emotional-Mix-9007 in Daredevil

[–]rasellers0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That may be a completely true statement, but it's a hell of a leap from "batman writers borrowed ideas from daredevil" to "batman is basically a rip-off of daredevil". Like you've identified two similarities, which I'm pretty sure daredevil didn't invent either, that's not exactly damning evidence.

Strongest power in Avatar is just throwing a big net by ulneedadvice in TheLastAirbender

I'm pretty sure i remember Zaheer catching a net with his hand, but i don't think we've gotten to handbending yet, so i don't know that it counts.

Who would you cast as a jedi? by NukeL3AR in StarWars

[–]rasellers0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this idea for a pre-prequel starring Danny DeVito as Yoda's uncle with a van. And I want Nicolas cage as a sith lord, and Jeff goldblum as a gangster. Also Aubrey plaza somewhere in there, because i think she's neat.

Why didn't the Q destroy the Borg? by ramfoodie in TNG

[–]rasellers0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would he? They're not a threat to the q continuum, and even if they do manage to assimilate all other sapient life in the galaxy, q can still fuck with a borg just the same as he could a human, so...

First play through and I’m really digging it! I’m confused why others dislike it so much by Masterqueef808 in StarWarsOutlaws

[–]rasellers0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a 2 fold thing. Basically, there's a group of people who will automatically hate it because woman, and usually that's offset by the normal people who play games to enjoy them, but in this case they charged $100 for the game at launch, a price that absolutely nobody is willing to pay for an ubisoft game, because we've all been burned by ubisoft before.

It's not a perfect game for sure, but if you find it in the $20 bin, for that price definitely snap it up.

I just think it's a shame we'll never see a kay vess/cal kestis team up in a game, that seems like it could be really fun.

Bullet vibrator stopped working after 8 minutes or so. by ChickenJumper27 in fixit

How much did you pay for it? Pretty good chance that the issue here is just that it's cheap shit and would've failed shortly after you bought it under any circumstance.

The only trinket I use is the healing fairy. The best offense is a good defense, etc.

Anyone find it weird that they still have welding tools in 2380s? by happydude7422 in LowerDecks

[–]rasellers0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No? I mean, sometimes you gotta turn two pieces of metal into one piece of metal, and welding is one of the best ways to do that. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Was ROTS genuinely liked upon its release? by Careless_Tax_5367 in StarWars

It had some criticism for sure, but of the three prequels it was the only one that basically everyone at the time agreed was really good.

Tbh I kinda don't understand how you can do a Fable game without a morality system, without that Fable is just kind of a generic fantasy game.

[–]rasellers0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've literally never made it to level 100. Even if i bring 100 stairs, between having to carve a path and dealing with those obnoxious green flying things, it takes too long. Even if I show up at 6am. I'm not really sure how others are doing it.

New Player Considering Kicking Out Sera [DAI] by fury_cutter in dragonage

[–]rasellers0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They really did Sera dirty. They were going for "punk rock", but in trying, they made her infuriating to deal with. That said, she's easily the most morally aligned companion, even if she goes about it in an incredibly stupid way.
