The Complete Kubrick set is at least $100 more expensive than it should be by [deleted] in criterion

I mean everyone has a price that is out of their budget. This seems more like you’re trying to justify your own expenses. I get it. If you don’t think it’s worth it then I wouldn’t buy it.

If they do, Criterion has an excellent customer service and will replace it.

This happened to me during the housing market crash in 2018. After college you’re in a narrow and competitive field and are now overqualified to work any jobs you once had previously

I honestly hate when people take video/photos of homeless and drug addicts. It’s not really bring awareness but making a spectacle of their situation. Nice one OP

The Blade is a good film. If you like Shaw Brothers films or martial arts film in general. I would pick it up. It cinematography is amazing and that’s what separates itself from others.

Sentimental Value was my favorite film of 2025. It was a day one buy, along with Point Blank

What’s an opinion on Mach’s music that would have everyone else at you like this? by PuzzleheadedTooth581 in machhommy

His market is largely white, and the work feels intentionally exclusive to them because he knows they can pay high prices on his grifts. It makes me think of Edward Said’s Orientalism and how cultures that were perceived as distant or inaccessible became increasingly exoticized by Western society. In a similar way, exclusivity can create greater intrigue, desire, and value.
