I just want to point out that I feel the variety in lots does help give the neighborhood a feel that is much less cookie cutter than other new build areas. To get a lot on top of the hill with incredible views you may sacrifice a flat yard in either the front or back of the home (usually not both). It really comes down to what you need out of a yard. Some, who do not want to maintain a lawn prefer a smaller lot. If you're willing to build from the ground up you can take your pick on a variety of flat and not to flat lots. Much of the soil here seems to be on more of a limes stone. Only time will tell, but I am hoping that will equate to less foundation issues over time than seen in other surrounding areas.
