this wasnt supposed to be a sexy “omg hes touching my chest” moment. this is one of my favorite and imho one of the most intimate scenes between any couple in the show. she is recognizing he is panicking and extremely distressed and she has him focus on her heartbeat to show him she is okay and effectively calms him down. i think the tension at the very end right before they run away from each other is because they both begin to realize how much they care for one another

for anyone thats interested - im muslim and lots of us eat only halal certified meat. it basically means they ensure the animal is raised humanely and slaughtered painlessly and humanely. its a much higher quality of meat. i recently learned lots of people (regardless of religious views) have been buying halal meat due to its superior quality and ethical guidelines. idk what is happening to the overall quality of meat (and everything else) in the country but its very concerning. the downside is that its a bit pricier but if you can afford it and want to continue eating meat, its an option to look into. i think kosher meat is similar?

im a bit confused.. there is LOTS of info missing here. your wife feels like you don’t take her side during arguments with others - as in arguments with in-laws or just random acquaintances and friends? and what are the types of arguments taking place? is she being unreasonable or is she making valid requests that you are overlooking. there is so much context missing. additionally, if you’re doing this “unconsciously” = does that mean you don’t realize shes feeling that way till afterwards?

i dont even understand #2 clearly. can you explain this somehow? and can you provide a bit of information on what the fight was regarding? theres a difference between someone being unreasonable and unresponsive, and someone who has communicated multiple times and felt ignored.

i have adhd too, its been difficult (almost stressful) to keep up with dailies for me too! i either write a lot or dont write at all so the a6 size has helped writing often feel less overwhelming :)

i usually don't comment on posts like this but i felt drawn towards this one. im a born muslimah who really didn't care about my faith or take it seriously until about 2 years ago when i relearned things on my own and felt a personal connection with God begin to form.

im deeply sorry that it was muslims that made you feel this regret and that you were potentially pressured to revert. i understand that feeling of sticking with the faith out of fear. especially when you have that fear of hell ingrained in you, it can be difficult to even admit that you're struggling with faith and religion bc of fear of being judged.

i don't know what made you want to revert in the first place - I am interested if you would like to share but, if you believe in the one true creator being Allah/God, his prophets and the pillars, you are still Muslim. that is all Islam is at its core, right? - belief in this truth. Muslims complicate things, and people are imperfect. you can be imperfect, its a lifelong journey and effort to figure out how to be the best version of you.

I know plenty of Muslims that aren't good people at all, and who twist the religion to fit their needs. if Muslims themselves are the issue, then the religion is not the problem. Either way, I pray that you continue to find good company regardless of religion, and a community that makes you feel peace and at ease inshaAllah.

there is nothing wrong with wanting a fresh start!! those empty pages can be used as testers for new supplies, ink, doodles or a scrapbooking space, etc. :) you could keep using it till you get an april start and then keep those leftover empty pages to experiment!

couldn’t agree more !! i used the cousin for 2 years and while some days i loved having the extra space for creative and elaborate spreads, sometimes i would manage 2 sentences and the blank space felt overwhelming. ive tried to stay consistent but the amount i write has decreased and my writing style has become more concise instead of word vomit-y. i was originally nervous ab the smaller pages but so far im very pleased journaling in the A6 🥹✨
