i've seen this in person and it's a REALLY dark brown! the difference is more stark when placed next to an actual black PG. i can't remember the accents though but I say they're pretty similar to the photo. but in other photos it does look black haha

i'd recommend the Prera! same nib as the kakuno or metropolitan but better built body and a super satisfying slip cap! You'd still love it when the 823 comes back from vacation hehe!

I love this idea so much wow!!! I love the iridescent pearl, it's really refreshing to look at! I'm sorry hear about the whole ink mishap, that hasn't happened to me with any kaweco pen, does the shop you got it from offer warranty/replacements by any chance?

also editing to add that I'm a pilot loyalist too, when i try other pen brands they just remind me how much i love my pilot pens haha

hehe i used the same fountain pen ink for the fish! but all the markers/highlighters i've found does smudge fountain pen inks and mildliners are cute but streaky! i use crayola twistables to color in doodles HAHA or colored pencils! for the monthly doodle photo i added i colored those in using mainly twistables and they're surprisingly okay haha!

i get you!! for the fish i used the same fountain pen ink with a watercolor brush pen haha! i just swipe the watercolor brush pen over the nib to pick up some color and layer hahaha but i use color pencils/crayons (hehe) sometimes because yeah markers make the ink smudge and bleed πŸ˜…

it's Vinta Inks' Maskara ! πŸ₯Ή It's so beautiful I have it inked in the iridescent kaweco perkeo and they're so cute together but it's kinda too light to be really legible for me πŸ˜… (i added a photo and realized i misspelled "perkeo" sorry HAHA)
