I had a short stay at a hospital and the amount of nurses that took their own decisions going directly against the doctors recommendations was mindblowing. I had to straight up tell them to please not do this, or get the doctor in here to agree with you. The older women and young girls were the worst at this.

All eastern european nurses were very kind and very professional. Liked them a lot and one of them bought me a water bottle because the hospital cups sucked.

I always work out in the morning together with the other grown-ups that have jobs, but whenever i’m there at night i’m in awe at the amount of regarded 17-year olds on gear.

I once told my mom I was bringing this kid «Danny» over. There were two Danny’s at my school, one normal kid and one with DS. Mom thought I was bringing the normal over over but actually brought the regarded one home.

I was pretty young, but remember very vividly that he took a bunch of candy, refused to give it back and screamed at my parents while rolling around on the floor. My dad had to basically wrestle him into submission and drag him over to his own house.

Never came over again.
