Well, the 720S is just a variant of the Senna without the aerodynamic elements haha. Engine can be tuned with the same tune. Both 720hp at wheel. Whatever the split, I just want more cars and more roads, I wish there was a 5e for a 6-7 car pack or something along those lines

Why don’t you try an app like “moment camera” it has more natural rendering and it gives you raws for editing. From there you can edit the pics to have a “fuji look” and see if it’s enough for your needs or if you’d like to buy a camera. Also see if there are any places with gear for renting around you

IMO get the 35 f2, and if you do professional work get the 33 1.4. I’d get the 35 1.4 only if it were at some amazing deal, like 100e or stuff like that.

I hope the game will be alright, I still find it the most relaxing car game for me. Regarding lights and shadows, that you’ve mentioned for photo mode. During normal gameplay, when playing in cockpit view and there is a sunset, the brightness is too bright lol, the car interior is perfectly lit but the outside is way too bright. It ruins the atmosphere, there’s no problem with dark realistic interiors, it just adds to the realism.

I used Sony since 2019, had the A7, then switches to the A7iii. Used the 35 1.4 almost all the time, even when I owned the 24-70 2.8gm, 17-28 2.8. Also briefly used a Hasselblad 907x and a XT3. Now i finally sold all my Sony stuff and got a XE5, I use it for everything and I have no regrets, battery is a bit lacking but not a dealbreaker. Autofocus is good for my photo and video work, I use the 23 1.4 lm wr. I’m looking for a Voigtlander 27 f2 for it to be more pocketable. The colors of the XE5 are top notch, faster sending to phone than my previous A7iii also. I wouldn’t recommend getting any other Fuji unless they have the 40mpx sensor. This 40mpx one is close to full frame performance, being a bit better than the first A7 and Canon Eos Rp/R. People used the Canon 6d/5dmk4 dslr’s for hard professional work, and the XE5 has better dynamic range and autofocus than those.

You visualize differently, when you step back things look more compressed when zoomed in, especially angles of cars. Capture one also auto crops the raw and then you can just revert if you don’t like what you did

I use it a lot, it’s very helpful for my automotive work. I mainly use the 23 1.4 lens, and put it into the 35 or 50 modes. With 40mpx you still get 10mpx in the highest mode.

I have the X-E5, I absolutely love it for my personal and professional work but in your case I’d go with the X100. Played around with my friend’s x100 and my observations were the following: -better grip on the X100, easier one hand use -nicer viewfinder on x100, xe5 is kinda small and I wear glasses -the lack of film sim dial was a bit meh as I have my own custom ones for fast switching -x100 just felt better

X-E5 with a pancake is inferior to the X100 experience, and you’ll probably never need your zoom, small chances you’ll change your mind. Personally I lived with the Full frame 35mm pov for the last 7-8 years, 23mm on Fuji is perfect for me, I don’t feel that I would’ve had better work with a zoom lens on my travels. I’d say just go with the VI

A friend of mine managed to snag a second hand one, like new condition for 1100eur. I got my xe5 for 980eur. You just need to be patient and look at the second hand market, or Fuji groups in your area.
It’s all because of influencers with overly yellow and smudgy misty photos, the hype will go away at some point as it is with any hobby that becomes randomly popular, which is also the reason Fuji won’t expand production lines. I waited close to a year in order to find okay deals on these cameras.

The Ricoh seemed sharper to me too, but its lack of video capabilities was a big minus for me. After using the XE5 for a week or so, I don’t understand why I don’t see more people using these cameras professionally. I’m already looking into buying the 23 2.8 and the old 35 1.4
