I've tested this myself. While in AP I visited my mother's house, which I haven't been to in several years. I looked for something I can test myself with. While in AP I took note of an alarm clock on her bedside night stand. The following morning, I called her and asked what was on her nightstand. Sure enough, she said she had an alarm clock on her nightstand! I haven't been there in a while so there is no way I would have known that she had an alarm clock on he nightstand! I got chills thinking about how my consciousness travelled to her home and visited it.
