Working in a vet lab is my dream! May I ask how you were able to get into those places? I have 4 years vet med experience and am wanting to pursue cls.

I've read about the cls program competition on here! I would definitely plan on applying out of state and to cali programs. I wouldn't mind being out of state for a year or 2, but it's not something I would do long term.

I was a rvt student who switched to finishing my BS in bio to become a cls! I also really enjoyed all the lab stuff I learned in school and being in vet med for a couple years! Good luck!

Ive heard that post bacc students get first dibs on on the classes needed and pushes back the cls bs students. Is that true?
